I’m seeing a lot of new blogs that have the “Digg this” widget under every post. This establish the great success of Digg on the net. So I was overly excited when recently Kevin Rose has announced the release of an official version Digg for the Iphone. You can check it out at digg.com/iphone. You need an iPhone or Safari’s Webkit software running to see it working properly.
Some features indicated:
- Native iphone – like story scrolling
- Minipermalink pages with top 5 comments
- Login and Digging
- Pagination
- Jump to any topic
The new release is more faster than the normal Digg website but users can still browser old version. I wonder if Iphone users they prefer however to continue to use the old version. Now we just have to wait to see how long digg for Iphone takes to get through.
