If you’ve never been to a CES event you must be fast because If you look on the CES hotel reservations website five hotels are already sold out. I’ve just looked at the page and cannot believe Imperial Palace hotel cost $249 a night during CES.
According to website, individuals or groups they can make reservations through the CES site for $160 night. Each year, the International CES works with a variety of Las Vegas hotels to offer attendees and exhibitors the lowest rates possible. That’s still nuts for a hotel that goes for as little as $49 a night. And the prices are crazy! Even a cheap ass hotel like the Imperial Palace. The CES start until January 7 of next year.
There Is Bill Gates To Open CES 2008
As was been announced on July 9th, one of the first keynote speakers at The Consumer Electronics Association(CES) 2008 will be Bill Gates. Microsoft co-founder and chairman Bill Gates will open the show with his traditional pre-show keynote, supported by Toshihiro Sakamoto, president of Panasonic and Intel chief executive officer Paul Otellini.
The 2008 speech is believed to be Gates’ last CES address before the executive’s scheduled retirement sometime in 2008. Gates has participated to ten following speeches in 1998 and a non-stop run from 2000 to 2007.
