SayNow, is a service that enables “celebrities to connect to their fans over the phone messages”. SayNow deliver voice and text services that are used by entertainers, politicians and community leaders to communicate with their users.

Today techcrunch has launched an article that says SayNow will announce $7.5 million Series A funding September 12. Here’s the passage:
“Saynow will announce $7.5 million Series A funding September 12, in a round led by Shasta Partners. Tugboat Ventures’ Dave Whorton, a SayNow advisor since early 2006, also participated in the round as did Costella Kirsch. Rob Coneybeer, MD of Shasta Ventures will join the SayNow board of directors”.

SayNow allows celebrities to leave messages for their fans, and fans are capable to leave messages for their favorite stars, using a web based interface and phone messages. SayNow recently has launched a new marketing tool for the musician that feeds the MySpace. Musicians drop a widget or link inside their MySpace page, which allows user to leave a voice message.
