Every blogger should have a StumbleUpon account. StumbleUpon is a great networking tool because it offers a unique opportunity to reach the target audience you’re searching in little time. StumbleUpon send your website or video directly to people that have similar interests.
The inherent capacity for StumbleUpon to send traffic is often under-estimated, particularly by new bloggers. Jeremy Schoemaker’s of Shoemoney.com has wrote an interesting article on how an her recent post titled “ evolution of my office over the last several years “ has made send more users on her website through the StumbleUpon community.

To have a chance to be connected with other bloggers, you need to vote their content which you can do by clicking on the stumble button. The most important factor that bring the blog up on the stumbleupon list is getting a good stumbles. If a stumbler see straight away a good content then they’re likely to stick around your blog. Also, I think there are some users that would gladly to visit your site if you give them more return traffic through your StumbleUpon page.
Three Ways Why StumbleUpon Can Be A Great Networking Tool
Here, I reassumed the three main features of what looks to be a very promising social news and community platform.
Speedy. Through the toolbar you can send the webpage to multiple users with simple clicks.
Networking. Allows its StumbleUpon users to participate into the community to send and receive content from friends. Just as with social networking services such as Facebook, user can create a profile and add friends by menu toolbar. It’s a great way to socialize and deepen online relationships and connections.
Increase Your Traffic. It is the one thing that anyone with a website hopes for again and again. The fact you can make know your web pages to more users don’t mean that you will get extra strumbles, but these community pages are visited by thousand of people every day and could be interesting to attract new visitors to your blog.
How To send A Stumbleupon Web Page
If you want to sending to anyone a specific web page using your StumbleUpon account, it’s extremely easy. You must go on the web page, you must only click on the “send to” button on the toolbar and pick a username.
Well, now you find above a list of the StumbleUpon users with a little red number you see brackets beside the username. It shows how many times you have sent the specific user a page.
Once you choose a user which you want to send the webpage, click up the icon and a window pop up will appears in front to you, where you can put a little note of web page you want to send.
On the image below you can see that I sent an articles for Road Geek, an active Stumbleupon users and friends. Click the “send to” button and you have made all.
Now, there are two main things you need to verify: Mutual friends and your fans.
The mutual friend. These are the best friends of your friends page. You can add many of your friends as you like to the list and they will always be shown at the top of your friends page in alphabetical order.
The fans. In little words there are users that have added you as a friends but whom you have not befriended in return.
Drive Traffic Back To Your Blogwith Great Stumbles.
When you vote up a site that hasn’t been voted up before, you ‘Discover’ it. This means that you write its first review and your profile information appears in the sidebar of the reviews page for that item. Great content can drive a lot of (influential) stumlers to the page profiling you they rush to vote and review it. Some of them will be drawn into visiting your profile, simply because you have such great taste.
