It was one of those times when Google has hit many bloggers to maintaining her monopoly on the Affiliate programs market. But it also one of these time where the Affiliate program industry is growing.

The LinkWorth interface gets a negative criticism from me because it’s not as intuitive as we’d like, however there are promises of new and interesting developments to come. Although it’s not the most user friendly system, what is interesting about the linkWorth is not the interface, but how much money you can make with it.

Ades of www.adesblog.com is succeded to earn a total of $395.32 with text-link ads . In the first month, just after registering it, is succeeded to get few links on her blog, while in the second month total number of links increased to 8 (you can see her links are under Monthly Picks section on the left).

Is better 50/50 or 70/30?

One of the major point of this program is that you can choose between two options: 50/50 or 70/30. Whe you are preferred partners you earning 50% from your site.

By default you have 70/30 option but you can change your status in the moment you want, by sending an email to the linkworth team, so you can have your status changed. To start with LinkWorth, personally I think is better 50/50 because it will promote you to advertise. Once you have some loyal advertisers, then you can shift your plan to 70/30.

How To Improve Your Link Rank With LinkWorth

A good way to improve your linkrank is when you have your site optimized for better search engines. It will not only increase your rankings in Google, Yahoo and Alexa improves your LinkWork rank. If you rich with numbers, higher traffic inevitably lead to stronger linkRank and earnings.

These text link ads online isn’t a new thing for many bloggers. But I raises a problem. In these days we all heard to say if worth to spend money buying text link ads. If you read about what Google says about paid links, you would have known that fully investing on links can be somehow dangerous.

Google says:

Don’t participate in link schemes designed to increase your site’s ranking or PageRank. Those people can probably guess that Google does consider buying text links for PageRank purposes to be outside our quality guidelines.

Conclusion

For now LinkRank is just a promise. There are not enough blogs yet in its archives and it can be a good strategy to surpass competitors by registering now. If you love risk with Google, however, it was proved that, you can still make money with a lower PR blog. Not all advertisers are looking for a high PR backlink.

  The tool I want to show today is really cool. The guys behind Nmap.org, according to Alexa, have scanned the top 1 million sites on the web, and created a tool that allows to show the result based the favicon graph of each one. The size of each favicon in the graph indicate the traffic each website has.

  I wanted to try the service, so I used the search function, and here the result(look the image above). The only problem with my site is that the service doesn't show my latest favicon, but the favicon of my Frugal theme yet. Maybe has need to be upgraded to get the latest favicon logo.
  
  If you have an Alexa rank below 1,000,000, you are able to identifying the favicon of your website and the websites you know. Also, it allows you to zoom in and out. Through their search box you should be able to find your favicon in a few second.
