If you want proof that the ideas on how we can make money are growing, Danial Scooco from DailyBlogTips in his latest blog post titled “28 ways to make Money with your website“, he give some advice on how get profit online with a website.
My own experience on some of these programs is limited to being an observer but I want to add more to the topic raised by Daniel to clarify my thoughts on base my experience accumulated in this years.
PPC Advertising Network
Google Adsense or Yahoo Publisher network are the most popular way to monetize. The ads displayed can be either contextually target or site-targeted, and may be paid on either a cost-per-click or cost-per-thousand impression basis. The Adsense publishers will receive a share of the ad revenue.
I often think PPC advertising is the type where you go and buy ads to drive traffic to your site, anyway to make money from a site. This type of business has need, of hard work, constancy, and a lot of time first to getting a discrete result.
CPM Advertising Network
The CPM Advertising Networks programs, have never impressed me very much. I realized immediately you must have an great amount of page impressions to make some profit from this programs. It’s not for me momentarily.
Direct Banner Advertising
I’ve used banner advertising on nearly all my old sites except the3dtechnologies.com to sell directly to advertisers advertising space. I charge anywhere from $50 to $250 per month for blocks of banners and attract advertise using a well structured advertise page. If you have at least 100 visitor a day, I reccomend to use this strategy.
Text Link Ads
There is little to say. Google has made a lot of rumors recently by penalizing all bloggers selling links. Not use them.
Sponsored Reviews
If there is one thing that lets things down with sponsored review is that you can risk losing readers, because you risk to write review no relates with your site topic. Writing a tiny article for only $20, max $50, I realize that doesn’t sound like much money, but if you have a lot of visitors a day you could easily make $450 for review like John Chow.
