One of the things I’ve learned about PPC Marketing is to find high affiliate commissions which will effectively bring in sales. I signed up for a free account with Offervault and surf around the site to see if there was some high commission. On the main login page there is a drop down on the top-righ where you can choose between 24 network like Clickboot, Neverblueads and much more. If prefer, you can use a “search box” on the top-left that allow you to search for topic.

Lately I have preferred working with higher end CPA offers, this way I can spend more on lower click amounts to test the campaign. example: 1000 clicks @ .05 = $50. If a campaign is paying $50 per lead, that allows me to test with a “1000 clicks to 1 lead ratio”, before losing any money.

For this PPC tutorial, I will use the “Columbia House Canada” offer on Click bank. The offer currently pays a $33.74 commission. This is just a tutorial I have not really tested or run this offer.

Setting Up Your AdWords Account

First and foremost, you need to sign up for the Google Adwords program, which you can do by clicking in the “start now” button. Once you complete the full register process, through Google Adwords, you can start setup and track all of your pay per click campaigns. In addition to Google, I’m also recommending using MSN and Yahoo. However, this brief tutorial is based on the Google Adwords method.

  • On the https://adwords.google.com/select/Login click on the “Start now” button to get satarted.
  • Now, will give you to choose between two types of accounts starter and Standard. Select “Standard” and click on “Continue“.
  • The next screen, will allows you to choose which languages you want to target. If you have built your site in language english, you would select english.
  • Now, all you have to do is to go Create a New Campaign, by clicking “Keyword Targeted” on the “Create a Campaign and an ad group“.
  • A campaigne consist of one or multiple AdGroups. The “Campaign Name” is basically the offer name you are promoting. AdGroups are basically the different sets of keywords that you want to promote.

Writing Your Ad

Headline. The your aim is to attract attention of your target market. For instance, some time ago, I choosed to use for my campaign the term “ringtones”. After my campaign published I made only $30 and spent $100. OUPS. The great mistake i made was to do not specific in the headline the phone model that accepted ringtones. In fact, do not all cell phones accepted ringtones.

First Line. Stick your biggest, most powerful benefit in the first line in the ad example I showed: “Find Columbia House Canada coupon“.

Second Line. Put your most important feature in the second line. In this case “best coupon”.

Display URL. This shows the site’s URL. In this case: “http://qj.columbiahousecanada.com”

Destination URL. The second line is the actual url where the prospect will be redirected to. “http://qj.columbiahousecanada.com”

Now, we have to choose our bid amounts. I spend .05 cost per click and my maximun badget(daily budget) is at $100. It’s important if you want google will just stop displaying your ad after your daily limit has been reached.

Once you have completed setting up your campaign, you should check if your ad is live. However, If do not display your ad, Google will send you an email that explain you why your campaign was denied.
