I like Digg a lot. Getting the first page in Digg is one thing that anyone with a website hopes every day. Today I give you a variety of tips that can help you to increase your position on Digg. But I can not assure that will guarantee your success on Digg. They come from my own experience of blogging over the last 2 year. One important thing is that these strategies must work together.

Content – (topics, titles, page layout and format) will play a very crucial role in your success in Digg:
- Topics – Some topics on Digg work best than other. Apple, political news work best than marketing. Can be disadvantageous to use some less popular topics. if you start out a blog about toys getting the first page on Digg can be difficult but not impossible. It’s not hard to do well on digg with this type of topic, but you’ll must know carefully about how you present it.
- Title – The secret sauce is the title but also one of the most underrated. Take time to look how other do and choose it right.
- Design – Presentation is an important part to get voted up on Digg. Make sure keep your site simple, not stuffed with ads. Also, it would have better if there are images on each post you submit.
Publicize – Digg includes a variety of Digg Badges for you to use:
Digg This button – It’s useful to encourage readers to submit your content on Digg. You can use them when you see a post climbing up Digg.
Add a text link - The readers who submits your post to Digg might be a very point in favor to getting high rank on Digg. I do not use a text link button on every post but can be useful add it in any new post inviting readers to submit it.
Digg Widget – This is another useful tool because allows you to show the latest posts from your blog that have been submitted to Digg.
Drive Traffic to Your Post – If you’re working to get on the front page of Digg, one way to increase position is that to driving traffic to the post. Once you’re completed your post or even before it’s submitted, you might invite other sites in your post through a link you send to them.
