5 Ways To Recession-Proof Your Blog
Full-time bloggers spend over 8 hours a day and alot of their energy into content and resource creation, giving all of it away for free. But, with the economic downturn that we are having, today, can be more difficult to make a life from this job. Â
Thus, today I want to suggest a number of ways that bloggers, particularly bloggers making a living from their blogs, can prepare themselves to ride out the economic crisis.

1. Creating useful content - Create quality contents is often the most important goal for web developers, but don’t become distracted from it. Your main aim as a blogger is that to creating useful contents that will help visitors to solve problems, enhance lives of people’s and fulfil their needs.
2. Don’t panic - Don’t panic on your blog. Look logically at the situation and write posts that focus on something different, good, not negative, but positive.
3. Build networks - Through a combination of social media and social bookmarking, smart web networkers make use of Digg, Facebook, Stumbleupon, Twitter and other services to extend their reach, in my view this strategy can give a great help and provide you with support in tough times.
Perhaps by launching more blog or a group of blogs in order to support each other, can achieve so much more than we can with one only. Together you can promote one another’s work could be one way forward through this tough time.
4. Expand your blog - Find ways to improve your blogs by adding new features, improving design etc. I think expansion in these times needs to be done responsibly (don’t spend all your money if your work depends upon it).
5. Advertise yourself -Â Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. In this period can be very harder to find advertisers for your blog, in alternative you can use your blogs as platform to sell some product or service in order to have another monetization stream.
