When you want to get someone to visit your site, you need to arouse their interest first. One of the ways you can make your blog more sticky for readers is to consider adding a page, that I’ve noticed some bloggers are avoid using – an About me page.

By reading these pages visitors may have some indication about what a blog is about and who is writing on it. That is the reason I adds an about me page on all of my blogs.
How Must Be An About Page?
Whether you’re just starting out in the online business world or you’re a veteran, here are some things you must know to build a strong About pages.
1.Be Transparent – It is incredibly important be transparent as possible, by telling to readers which are your aims, interest, etc – an about page can play a part in this.
2.Use a personal style – Many of bloggers prefer to write in a more impersonal style – but I prefer a bit of humour, personality and emotion and an About page can really help create a more personal connection with your readers. Thus, I think many of your readers will appreciate get more information on the person they’re reading.
3.Increase exposition - An About page has the ability to attract your readers within your site to your key posts. If there is a sponsor you’d like to expose, If you want to show some categories to your readers, If there is an article that you’re particular proud to highlight, If there is a page with an income stream that you want to show all your readers too, your about page will give you the opportunity to do this.
What Should you Put Inside An About Me Page?
The following point are a few things you can include on your blog’s about pages:
- Blog aims: Tell readers what your blog is all about, and what readers gain from it?
- Photo: Add something about you like a picture can establish a confidence from the person are reading.
- Short Introduction: Tell your you reader about your experience with the topic you’re writing about when you introduce Yourself. Why should they listen to you? What is your background?
- Consider leave some contact: Be transparency by giving your readers a way of getting in touch with you.
I would love to hear your thoughts about what you would add from my lists above. Looking forward to hearing from you about your “about me page”.

Great points here, I also think it would be great if you had a video and pictures of you with other bloggers, this would give you massive validation and authority. Just be human, it’s all you need to be.
