I’m repairing my home this week and working to paint a wall. Over the years, the walls have been infested with rot, so my brother and I have took a moment of ours time to painting the wall. It could be more easy to hire somebody to painting the walls, but this seems like an easy way to save a little money. That’s the focus of a most excellent article write from Liz Pulliam Westom at Msn Money.

You can make a good argument for hiring out certain tasks because it frees your time or because the person you hire will do a better job. In fact, people have. Author Timothy Ferriss turned the idea of outsourcing your life into a best-selling book, “The 4-Hour Workweek.”
Thus, the following four point are a summary of advices that Westom give about how save money:
1. Save money by cooking – “The simplest and fastest way for most folks to cut their budgets is to stop outsourcing food preparation,” I have always been a lazy man cooking, but sometime know how to cook it was been useful for my finances. For this first point I’ve two advices: If you have time, then learn to cook more meals at home. If you have space, then start a vegetable garden. Cutting recurring costs for a food preparation can be a great way to save money and be more stable with your finances.
2. Home repair – Usually, people who want to repair their own home have need to ask a professional. But sometimes, it can be useful to save a little money by doing the work yourself. I am willing to take on my own home repairs when there is no risk of death. Sure, electrical tasks can be a bit hard to resolve, but other little work as paint a wall don’t required particular dowry.
3. Personal care – When I was a poor student, I learned to clean and press and cut my own hair, as well. Another little way to save a bit of money.
4. Lawn and home care – Don’t use cleaning service can be a great way to save money.
There are other things Weston consider yourself to save a little money, such as Laundry and tailoring, basic car maintenance, computer maintenance, and tax preparation. My advice is: You take some time and learn all these little things to solve your problem. I’m sure once you’ve done it, it will be much easier in the future.
