A lot of sellers prefer using an PayPal account to get paid online, and with PayPal account, it’s now easier for you to buy in eBay and other websites. Once you have a bank account you can set up your business account at PayPal in a matter of minutes.
You don’t need – You don’t need server space, and security certificate, PayPal manages all of these things for you.
Hacked – You lessen the risk of having your credit card hacked. This because you use your credit card and PayPal account togheter.
Easier to get refunds when scammed – PayPal is famous for a feature that works to your advantage in case you did not receive the product your paid for, or you were scammed. All you have to do is a complaint in PayPal and provide the details of the transaction. After a few days your funds will be credited back to your account. Most of credit card companies, do not offer this service or even if they do, it might take days, weeks, or months before you can get your funds back.

Credit card and PayPal account work togheter – Without credit card, no PayPal account. PayPal don’t allows to open an account with them if you don’t provides your credit card details.
More charges – You pay more when you use your PayPal account to purchase online, especially if the product you are purchasing is priced in a different currency.

From my own experience I prefer to pay more with PayPal than the credit card because is more speedy and secure system.
