I started my first blog a couple years ago while I was working in a Engineering study. At first, I had not understood a lot about blogging, and I thought were just a personal diary where anyone could write their own thoughts and not a strong platform that allowed me to launching a business online.

What Are Some Of The Essential Things A New Blogger Should Know Before They Start Blogging?

At some point of my blogging journey, I’ve understood that to build a business online, that will effectively make me be more visible, there are a few things that need to learn.

1.Using a strong platform - I started my first website on Altervista, a free website hosting platform. It was interesting experiment because allowed me to upload all my html files and images and  create my first website quickly without spend a cent.

Unfortunately, they do not allows to to add Adsense(my first source of income). So I’ve left them and starting my first blog(the3dtechnologies) with Wordpress CMS open source.

There are alot of reason I choice Wordpress than other platforms out there: 1) WP is PHP, which be good. 2) There a large range of plugin is available for WordPress. 3) WP is all dynamic and you don’t need to rebuild pages. 4) WP is powerful, fast, easy to customize. These are some of features that you have access to through Wordpress.

2. What is a blog post and how to write a blog content - A blog post is compound of three basic attributes: title, link and description. Generally webblog post are short, a paragraph or two. Write quality contents and frequently this is not the quick way to build traffic, but it does work, and for those of you who enjoy writing but not marketing this is your salvation.

3. People can leave comments - A post might contain readers comments and response from the author. Three lines of information are generally requested from each commenters. When you want to get someone to do something, you need to arouse their interest. here are a few things you can do to increase your comment number on your site: 1) Leave an open ended question to your readers. 2) Instead of writing a long blog posts allow the readers to add input. 3) rewards your top commenters by linking out to them on every page in his sidebar. This is a great way to get new readers to comment.
