A forum that works depends by the people who frequent it and the quality of the connections and information they can find there.
If you have tried to start a forum without success, then keep these 4 step within reach. If you’re not on it and using it, you’re missing out big time.
1. Your daily presence is crucial to forum success - Being there, day to day, sends a strong signal to your audience. If you no works regularly with your forum you’re giving the reader an express invitation to leave.
2. Encourage conversation -Â I have had a negative experience with my first forum, because I not encourage conversation. Then, start conversation with what your readers want to learn. You know what are the relevant topics, to create an attractive conversation.
3. Invite some moderators -Â The first thing that may catch moderators attention is a good subject. Then, create a first post asking for become moderators. Moderators are essential to your forum’s success because they delete spam and play defense against hot tempers.
4. Think to your guests - If you’re running a good forum, provides something of useful to your members. So be a good host and put your guests first.
In my view, these are three crucial points, you need to follow to bring your forum to the next level. If you consider these tips, you’ll make the most, all that you’ve worked so hard for. If you hesitated at these points, maybe the forum is not for you. Remember, simply putting a forum on your site without any more energy, it does not make the jump you want.
