8 Ways To Promote Your Blog Post, How To Promote Your Web Pages
Many blogger try to promoting their blog in many ways - however a lot of bloggers fails, because focus their effort only to promote their blog as a whole. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with this, but in my view, people can have A LOT more success in promoting individual posts instead driving traffic to their blogs home page URL.
Once you write a blog you need to spend a little time giving it some ‘nudges’ to help it on its way and don’t just leave it by thinking that your post will be read by people.
1. Social messaging - For posts that are well received by readers use site like Stumbleupon or Facebook, Twitter to promoting your link. But be careful. Networking doesn’t just mean sending your link, each time.
You no need to do spam with your network, and promote link each time you write a new post. Choose the top post of the week, and you’ll see that your followers and friend spread word of it for you.
2. Being linked by another blogger - Asking another blogger to promote your post. Recently I wrote an article that explain 5 ways to increase your chance of getting linked by another blogger.
3. Social Bookmarking and forum - Networking is part of the independent publisher’s day-to-day work. Self promotion through social media sites like Digg or Stumbleupon is a great way to get on their radar. Also, I always promote my new post in forums like digitalpoint.
4. Create internal link - Thinking how promote your post within your own site. It can be a great way to improve your seo and increase page views.
5. Email signatures - Adding links to recent posts to your outgoing emails instead of just your blog’s front page URL.
6. Article marketing -  A bit of my site traffic comes from article I’ve posted on article marketing sites like Ezinearticles or Go article. Sure, you can get penalized by Google for duplicated contents, but there are a method to rewrite your key articles, quickly.
7. Followup posts - When you write a new post, choose a topic that follow your previous post. For example, your post can be a first part of a series of tutorial.
8. Advertise Your Post -Promoting selective post through Adwords, Myspace, Facebook, or Stumbleupon. Starting a mini ad campaign with a small budget is very simple.Â
