Submitting Free Ebook To Directories

Regular The3dtechnologies readers know that I always stated that you should look into as many different monetization methods for your blog as possible.

When people think about making money with a blog, they tend to think about things like Adsense, Chitika. Yes, it’s all good, but I know that there are a lot of people out there thinking to create something to sell. For instance a book.

In next month, I’m thinking to launch my first book for free. You’ll might ask how I’ll make money by it. Well, just because my book will be free does not mean that it is not making money for me.

A book is more that a viral marketing tool. If you’ll get a steady stream of people download and read up on your book, and someone order an affiliate service or buy an affiliate product that is embedded in the book, I will earn a commission.

If my commission is of $65 for an affiliate product, and if I charge an book, for instance for $10, I need to sell more the one copy to generate a decent income.

By launching a free book you can encourage mass distribution and have more chance to get more commission. There are different place where distribute your book for many time. These are places where you can upload the PDF file or submit the download link, but I prefer ebook submission sites.

However, I hear people complaining about how hard it is find ebook submission who have categories for your ebook. For instance, very little directories allows you to upload both a pay ebook and a free book in two distinct category.

Directories Of Ebooks

To simplify your life, I just did a quick Google search to see if there are book directories, and I’ve compiled this lists of ebook submission sites. Some of these directories want a link to a download page instead a link directly the PDF file.

Once built your readership and reputation, I think giving away the ebook for free does allow you to get an income stream. Selling is a matter of pushing customers, and with mass distribution, the only thing you need to hope is that someone signups for your affiliate programs.
