7 Affiliate Marketing Tips You Can’t Do Without
In these two years from being bloggers, I’ve learned a lot more about affiliate marketing. So, I thought it might be time to share 7 tips might be useful for who are starting as affiliate marketers.
1. Build Your Network - No matter if you use your email list, Stumbleupon, your Facebook friends, your Twitter connections, or some other social network as means to promote your affiliate products - the better your network is, more chance you have to make affiliate sales.
There’s no need to have thousand of followers, friends, subscribers. It’s most important the relationship that you have with your readers and build trust with them. Help people for a long time, they’re probably more likely to hear your recommendations.

2. Using multiple promotions when you launch a product - You need to reinforce the promotion. Usually, I use this simple methods: I write a single blog post by promoting an affiliate product. A few days later I write a second blog post that is an article related to the first post that linked to it. In this way I’ve increased the chance of readers buy the product.
A week after I send an email to my subscriber list about my previous posts and adds a link in the bottom of mail in order to reinforcing the promotion. Also, you could write a few Tweets about the promotion - perhaps some reader read the reviews of the product.
3. Add a bonus - I have found that conversions are significantly higher when I offer a bonus or discount just for my readers. This a great technique that you might use to increase sales of your products.
4. Time, time, time - Affiliate marketing take a lot of time. The first year of affiliate marketing you may see very little results. I personally earned more above the last year or two years. It depends as your network grow in size and quality.
5. Try different approaches - In these two years I noticed some affiliate offers convert better in a blog post, than the email newsletter or social media sites. In this case, you need to track the results for each promotion to see what convert well or not.
6. Trust - Usually, I add a product picture if it is physical product and screen shot if it’s a digital product and show the results I got. Affiliate that write review of a product without never have bought it, doesn’t get the trust of the reader.
7. Make comparisons - You can consider to do a comparison between similar products, highlighting pros and cons of each product or service.
