1. Launch a product that you’ve published for free – The answer is yes. The topic I chose for my first ebook is about “how to build a niche site”, but is an update of things I’ve already discussed on my blog, with some extra material and put into a format could be forever useful to read.
2. Promotions through Affiliate marketers - Ask to affiliate marketers to promote your e-book by writing about it. In my view, you can get more sales than those who Tweeted about it.
3. Don’t Launch during a US public holidays – If you don’t want lose commission sales, I reccomend you to wait at least two three days after an US holiday to launch your workbook.
4. Design – For help you with some of the affiliate banners/graphics you can pick a service like bannersmall.com.
5. Get Partnerships - The team at SitePoint is particularly helpful to sell your book because allow your customers to get the bundle from every copy sold of their new book Online Marketing.
6. Which affiliate network perform well? – There are a lot of affiliate networks available with more features and flexibility, but In my view, E-junkie is a cheap choice to deliver your product.
7. Setting a price – Choosing a price for your workbook is one of the hardest parts of the process. I reccomend you to create a group of participants or ask your readers help you to choose a honest price.
8. Building a Network before you’re too late - Before You Need it, the networks is essential when talking to people about your products. Twitter and Facebook are the best way to get more visibility, quickly, than other social media like Digg or Delicious.
