When people think about making money with a blog they tend to only choose niches like internet marketing.

There are a lot of people are making a fortune by teaching others something through their mentor programs. An clear example is Yaro Starak, that with his Mastermind teaching program has gained thousand of dollars through internet.

Sure, ‘internet marketing’ is a good niche, but, In my view, the common mistake many people do is to make money online in a niche, without first know how to market on the internet.

Well, in this post I want say you that is not so hard to earn thousand of dollars per month in any niche, big business and little niches, and that you don’t need to become a marketing ‘guru’ and develop a product, such as mentoring programs, or courses online to generate income.

As I said before there are  other niches better then ‘internet marketing’. For instance, some of the products in the real estate niche have been priced at around $2,000 and recently there are been different case study of new product has generated in excess of a million dollars in revenue during the launch phase.

For this, I think that a very good way to make real money is to take consider industries such as real estate. Now I can’t say you how much money you can make in those industries but if you look at Google trend and compare both the term ‘internet marketing’ and ‘real estate’ it’s enough easy to understand that this niche has great opportunity. Now, many people reading this article could say that are not able to compete very effectively in the “real estate” market. Well, you are not obliged to follow this way, there are also many others niches out there to choose, that are really profitable niches, as well.

Going back to the Mastermind program, Yaro is a great teacher and his advices can be implement in any niche and he show you loads of case studies of people making serious money in all sorts of niches such as edible herbs and dressage.

Now, the next question is: How much money really want to make? Before to starting your own business, ask this question: Do you want to make $1000 or $2000 extra income a month feel?

Back in 2006 I started blogging I had a specific goal. Because I want to buy a home (and afford the monthly payments!) and with the EU/US exchange rates I estimate that I need to be earning a regular income of $6k a month.

That figure would provide me with a decent living and I’d be extremely happy with that. I don’t need millions, do you?

As I said before, many people think that the only way to really become milionaire online is to work within the ‘internet marketing’ or “make money online” niche, and thus teach others how to make money or get increase traffic, or social media, or do seo, and so on.

If you look at the gurus in the Internet Marketing industry, it could seems really so, but is it true? In my view not exactly.

Here, I’ve put a handful of big names within the industry. I believe if there is anybody reading this post who has never heard of any of the names I mentioned above or their products.

These people are famous because have earned millions of dollars online and take a look at the products that have made them rich:

• Mass Control - Frank Kern
• Dominiche & The Immediate Edge - Ed Dale
• the Product Launch Formula -Jeff Walker
• The AdSense Code - Joel Comm
• Traffic Secrets & Marketing Secrets - John Reese

I suspect that most of you are familiar with at least some of them. These are marketing gurus that selling their knowledge through systems, tutorial, books, and so on that allows them to make big money, and readers to learn how make money online like them.

these people have had successful with their products because is in the nature of people that want to know how they made their money or create a lot of traffic or created their marketing system or whatever their product teaches.

However, there are a lot of people who are not known like these, that are make a fortune in niches that have nothing to do with Internet Marketing, but compare to the name above they have no reason to tell their story.

For example, we know that one of the common way to make money online is through blogs, by creating niche blogging and monetizing through Adsense, affiliate programs, and so no.

We know some of the prominent people who make money in this way, for example John Chow. But we only know about John because of his Johnchow.com blog where he shares his story.

There are other people out there who are busy working away in their niches but don’t have a blog where they writing their news, and don’t have launch an ebook or course that teaches others how to using their strategies. These are the people you don’t know, because you never heard about them, then you don’t see. But just because you don’t see them does not mean they do not exist!

For instance, I know a creator of a popular Facebook application that was making $200k a month until recently but he doesn’t teach other people how he did that! Nobody knows who he is. If I told you his name you would never have heard of him. He doesn’t have a blog like this one, he just works at his work privately and rakes in his money without anybody knowing about it.
