How To Launch A Free Ebook
This is the second part of my recent article titled “How to launch an ebook“. As I’ve mentioned, this month I intend to launch my first book “How to make money online” for newbie people.
Before the book hits the site, I reccomend to join to my newsletter on the left sidebar, because I’ve still not decided the pre launch date, so I can send you a free copy directly on your email box.
The following techniques are ways that you can use to promote your free book:
1. First and foremost create your own wbsite - There are a lot of choice between free website providers where you can register and start your free website. The best thing is that many of them offers templates and page builders to help you to create the best website for your book. It really quickly and easy to promoting your book with this service.
Note: Be careful some of free providers penalize spammers by discontinue your service.
2. Share your book on website - There are a lot of website that allows to add your book. These sites give you all necessary to add the title of your book, a brief description. Some of them allows to rate the ebook or leave comment.
3. Request book reviews. The Web is full of book review bloggers, that want to provide your book attention it deserves. Before to send out the queries, you need to evaluate your introductory email, or your response rate can be low. Here, some brief advices:
- Take a few moments to have some basic information about your reviewer’s website and check if he make book reviews about your subject.
- When you send a query, tell your reviewer that you’ve been reading their material, also a little praise can go be accepted.
4. Build a newsletter - Is the better way to reach thousand of people at once. The most important thing is to know how to write an email newsletter. First and foremost, define your goal for the Newsletter, in this case getting most downloaded book as possible, as make sure to provide value to visitors in some way. For example by writing what they will learn with the book.
5. Set up a signature line - Short but efficace, add a title of the book, a brief description and where it can be downloaded.
6. Find list of group - Find a group relating the subject of your book. For instance: Let’s say you’ve written a book about “Make money online”. You can also create your own Facebook group, as I made recently, then increase the number of members, and when you reached hundred of members, you can send them a message where you say that you have launched your free book.
