Blogging, at least for me, is a means that allow me to live from these new technology. I’m a blogger, but first I’m an affiliate marketer. So my best blog posts in general are those where my landing page convert well into sales.
For instance, the best example on my blog is how to cloak affiliate link, link cloaking plugin for wp, which did me generate different “sales”. Link cloak plugin was been a winning product because is very useful for the most of bloggers out there.
The only downside about blogging is that it take a lot of time before getting a bit of gratification, particularly if you don’t use the right product and a persuasive writing that persuade potential customers to buy.

Writing a book, I can say, isn’t different. Every part of a book are very similar to the pages of a blog or web site. For instance the content of a post is similar to the chapters of a book while the URL of a blog or web site is very similar to the title of a book. In general, Blogs and books are more useful to visitors and readers if they keep to a central theme.
Of course, write a books take a long time and you must work hard to attract the attention and interest. In both cases It’s important to always keep clearly in mind the overall structure. You need to write quality content and have a clear view of the theme. They will help you identify a descriptive URL for your online writing site or book.
For instance, the topic I’ve choose for my book is about “make money online”. I spent over two month putting togheter these fifty pages. When I start blogging I had to resist the temptation to write the book because I had not enough experience about that “subject”. Once I’ve got the knowledge necessary to put down some useful information, I started writing.
So, my final tip for today is to treat your blogs and online writing as if they were books.
