Reasons To Use Only A Credit Card

I like to use my credit card, to make my purchases. Credit cards allow me to pay bills conveniently where I want, even without any cash on my wallet. It’s a common fact that people have multiple credit cards, but I believe that use only a Credit Card is the right way.

There are many reasons why I use solely a credit card:

1. Track your purchases better – Having one credit card help you keep track of how much you’re charging each month, better then having multiple credit cards. If you regularly use your plastic to buy the newspaper, pick up lunch, pay for dry cleaning, you may not realize how much of your paycheck is going toward incidental charges.

2. No problem with cash if you Lose the Credit Card - We’ve all heard stories about people losing their wallet. Can happens that you have withing your wallet hundreds of dollars in cash. In this case, If you lose your cash, probably it’s gone, and you don’t find it anymore. Instead, if you lose your credit card you can just cancel it and get a new one.

3. Use it everywhere – A credit card can be accepted and used everywhere you are, if it is an credit card such as MC or Visa.

4. Get cash back – A credit card gives you cash back and reward points so you get stuff for buying stuff.

5. Look for options – Many credit cards offer different features, including frequent flier points, trip cancellation coverage, car rental insurance coverage, and extended warrenty coverage. In generally, I think that credit card is king, and certainly much better than cash; However, if you use a credit card I reccomend to keep some money in case of an emergency.

Credit Card Security Tips

Despite this positive factors, and despite the credit card is used from many people around the world, there are some things that a credit card holder should know about the credit card security:

1. If you need to replace the old card make sure to cutting it and other document with your personal information, into many small pieces. There are people that can steal your personal information for their purposes.

2. If you must give your credit card number through phone or on the internet, use caution. Check every company before to give out your credit card number through these system.

3. Stay near the credit card whenever you use them. People sometimes ignore this rule when dining in a restaurant.

3. Check out if the internet address begins https://. Where “s” means that it is a secure connection. Also, if you look in the bottom right head corner of your screen there are a small padlock symbol.

4. Don’t memorize your PIN or Personal Identification Number anywhere, and specially DO NOT USE YOUR BIRTHDAY as your PIN.
