Common Mistakes That Bloggers Make With Their Headlines

There are a list of common mistakes that bloggers make with their headlines. If you want to know what you’re still wrong, here, I’ve put things blogger do not consider when writing headlines.

Especially, through these 8 tracks, I tell you what people not to do.

1. Don’t be original - People feels tired to read “How to increase your site traffic” or “10 Ways to get rich” If you want to keep your writing fresh, you need to broaden your source material. To get an headline templates to use in your headlines, you can stealing the best ideas of others, for instance from the page of Digg, popular bloggers, or newspaper.

2. Don’t Think to their readers – The key rules in writing any headline is: Don’t ignore your readers. if your headline is related a topic your audience doesn’t consider about, then you probably fail.

3. Don’t Write honest headlines - If you try to be clever your blog post will die, quickly. Every time you write a post, ask yourself “Is this headline a pun, or give readers an allusion?.  If yes, then change headline.

4. Don’t use optimistic headlines - Usually, I see desperate headlines like: “Blogging is die” or “marketing affiliate is die” hoping that they will shock you for getting a click or begging for attention. In my view this strategy can work well at the first time with the same reader, but not the second time.

5. Being quiet of their failures – Once wrote your headlines can happens that your public post doesn’t receive any comments, or link-back. Don’t worry, in this case the only thing you need is to go ahead.

6. Learn how to write an headlines –  You need to learn how to writing headlines  on your own, without the help of your friend or despite your friends are copywriters.  In my experience, friends usually choose the headline is the most  funny or clever, not the one that’s best suited for your audience.

7. No think to Reader Benefit - Ask always yourself If in the headline missing a benefit for your readers.

8. Lack of Curiosity - Curiosity must promise benefit. Create an headline that promised answer on what your are offering. Use questions, challenges in order to cause people to wonder what that was all about.

4. Lack of Simplicity – Often, headline that tries to say too much. It becomes a story instead of a title that leads you into the content. Eliminate unnecessary words.
