When I started blogging one of the things I found very hard was coming up with new writing topics every day. There are different ways to discover new ‘ideas’ or how to come up to them. So, I throught would useful upon this article to provide a few tips I use on my blog:
1. Using Google Analytics – You can open an account with Google Analytics to find new ideas. You can write one of your articles more in depth based what keywords people have used to find your blog post. Once choice 5-10 post you can apply the mind mapping strategy, below.
2. Rediscover old articles – Find old articles and updating those topics. For example if one article says: How to build traffic for your blog, you can write an article titled: 10 ways to build traffic to your blog.
3. Answering commments – One of the better ways to come up with any new topic is answering comments. For instance, an comment asked can be: Which are other ways to attract visitor to your blog, please leave a comment. Based to the answer received you can build a list of possible new post.

A methods that can take as little as 10 minutes and that any blogger can use is to make an exercise in mind mapping.
Often, Mind Mapping (Brainstorming) is a method used by companies, for resolve their problem, but it’s also useful to blogging to generate ideas for a series of posts, and for planning your blog future, as well.

If you have never used before, today is as good a time to start your first mind map. Here’s the step by step process to do it:
Usually, I do this kind of thing in my head, but is prefer to take a piece of paper, or pc or something else to write. Now, create a list of the last seven posts on your blog. Take each post and think a few minutes on ways that the post could be extended.
Think how you could extend a post in numerous ways including by answering a comments. Use any creative ideas as you want.
For instance, your original post could be: Why you should increase your subscriber rate? Now, imagines you find 5 potential new posts to write that extend upon the original one.
- 7 ways to increase your subscriber rate.
- Case study of how to get 2000 subscriber in one month.
- List of 10 articles on how to increase your subscriber rate.
- Interview about someone that teach how to increase your subscriber. rate.
- Write post on question from readers about how to increase your subscriber.
Now, you have 5 new blog post to write about your original post titled: Why you should increase your subscriber rate? Finding these new titles took me only 5 minutes. As you can see some of these are based upon actual answerings comments by readers. So, these new articles are for readers wanting to explore this topic.
In my view, this is a very simple process for find ways to “extend” your blog. Now, all you need to do is to use the same process with the other six posts you’ve choosen to use for the coming week or two. Of course, this is a method that you should do on a regular basis.
