When I started blogging in 2006, rarely I took things seriously, I rarely created quality content for my readers. Then, in september 2008 I started be more careful by writing my articles and give more informative answers to my readers.
Well, after some month I added feedburner to my blog and discovered I’ve got my first 315+ subscribers. Being a newbie as blogger I was enthusiast. So, I wondered: What happen if I make things serious?
So I started doing some key things…

1. I use many useful WordPress plugin. I believe WordPress is a great platform because of all the plugins and flexibility. You can add as many plugins as you want, but a few of those are crucial for SEO. I reccomend to read my old article titled “online seo optimization wordpress plugins and resources“.
2. I try to be more selective with my topics. While first I thought about my needs, now I think more about the readers needs. For instance, instead to write articles such as “Google Adsense is the better way to make money online?” I write things like this “How to use Google Adsense”
3. While the content is the first thing that is important to increase your readership, by using images and graphics can help you to create a professional blog as well. Often, I get emails from someone who says they like my blog images and graphics. I think My graphics and image I uses have made a bit difference in my site and helped increase the number of readers.
4. Writing every day is crucial if you want to get more pages ranked on search engines. Of course, this rule worth only if you have anything interesting to say.
5. Share your personal success is one thing that help you to build credibility. Many of successful bloggers show specific about their income, data reports(for instance, how they grow their traffic, how they increased the number of subscribers, and so on.
No matter what you are teaching, if ” how to make money online”, “how to make money online”, “how to grow the rss subscription”, and so on. It’s important to show what advice has worked for you.
While I don’t show my income report, I like test different program and give some data report of how they worked for me.
6. As many of my readers know, I’ve a main site, the3dtechnologies.com and a blog, nickdeiana.com. So, I’ve an opportunity to interlink the two. If you have a blog, it could be a huge help to drive traffic to your main site.
7. I’m lucky to know both italian and spanish language. Since I’ve started these new versions of the3dtechnologies, I’ve noticed an grow of my traffic of 30%. Keep consider this opportunity If you know other languages.
