How To Leave SEO Comments On Blogs

Often, I found people leaving SEO comments on my blog. Usually, when they leave a good comment, writing on their blog posting name things like this “Make Money Online”, or “Free SEO tips”, and so on….. that link to their site. In these cases I will not approve the SEO Comments or will directly delete their link.

Of course, these comments could be approved by some blogs that auto approve comments, but for blogger like me that approve them manually, I read twice before decide to approve it on my blog post. The fact is that I could losing my page rank value and reduce my position on Google search results.

So, for those that want to leave SEO Comments on blogs, first I reccomend to check these point:

1. Make The right choice - Do so, check which are the blogs that know what SEO is, and have more chance to delete your SEO blog comments. For instance, you can check if they do follows the link to the page being linked.

2. Check if the blog do follows the links – As I said on the first point, there are many bloggers that have deactivate the no follow function on the blogs. On digital point forum I’ve found the thread with a great list of do follow blogs or site, here the link. This is a great thing if you want to increase your link back and boost your page rank values in search engines.

3. Don’t leave comment on any blog – Once check out if the blog is ranked well on search engines, just look at the alexa and compete values to see what are its traffic. So, you can see if it worth to do a comment. If you don’t want to losing your time become important to know where leave your SEO comment.

4. Comment on new post - The main reason you need to write seo comment in fresh post is because you have more chance to be visible on the main page of the blog and increase your click through rate. Leaving SEO Comments on old post could be a waste of time because often page could not being indexed by search engines.

5. Ask questions – Most comment I received are like this: “great post, your blog is very interesting,….” I always deleted these kind of comment. To be considerd by bloggers on their blog you need to add a debate. By making question related the topic of the blog post you read, you do your comment more attractive for the readers, while you increase the click through rate.

Here, others general tips to getting backlinks:

• Write your comments about the topic.
• Try to link to a similar post from your blog.
• Ask the blogger a relevant question.
• Prove that you have understood the topic you have read.
• If blogger have have missed a point, then add another that you believe could be useful.
• Don’t try to make spam.
