Today I’m going to highlight an useful WordPress plugin which enables you to host auctions on your blog called Wp Auctions.
Here, an example: Peter has an auction for an laptop on his website, Mike and John decide to bid on it. Peter set the starting bid at $5. Mike decides to bid maximum of $20. John bid a maximum of $15.
This means that Mike maximum bid has been outbid till $15. Mike receive an email saying that he is being outbid. In the end, Peter will sell the laptop to the current highest bid.
If you win an auction, there are 3 options(set by the auction holder) that allows you to pay for your auction.
- Via PayPal – When you receive your email, a link will appear directing you to pay by PayPal.
- Via Wire transfer – When you receive your email, the bank details of the auction holder will appear to send the payment.

Testimonials
Jason Katzenback is owner of www.johncow.com. He’s a full time online entrepreneur making a living from various online sources focused in the “Internet Marketing”. Here’s what Jason says about Wp Auctions WordPress plugin:
“Sure, you can use eBay for all your auctions, but they tend to take some sort of commission for using their services. Besides, you can use this plugin to generate some extra traffic to your blog too! This is done by simply downloading the plugin, slapping it onto your site, create an auction, and register your site on their live auctions page. Everyone that sees an item that might be of interest to them can click on the auction link and will end up on your blog. Yay, another hit!”
Price And Bonus
Despite it’s not a free plugin, (it costs $39.99), I can safely say that it’s worth the price, but Wait!…There’s More!
Apart from the range of features that WP Auctions comes with they decided to give FREE traffic as well.
Once you buy their plugin and post an auction on your blog it will automatically get listed with them. When a visitor clicks on a listing they get re-directed to your blog, so you get a potential free traffic.
