There are so many writers on the web today. Social media makes us all writers, and there’s need to give more quality information.
Everyone believe to know how to write one post that other people want to read. However, I noticed when I read some blogs, the whole page is one long block of text that gives the piece a monotonous rhythm. Every paragraphs is the same length (four-five lines, maybe?), and whether it bad or not, it gives the piece a monotonous rhythm.
Paragraphs has the same structure. It has one concept, or idea. Often, I saw paragraphs that doesn’t connect any ideas came before it or after it. As a little island, any paragraph is different from each other. This is a common mistake many of us do. Sure, it’s normal write a bad paragraph but write one that isn’t connected with each others, that have a different sense, can only make you lose your credibility.
So, I reccomend you, before to launch an article, come back to correct any mistake. Often people, don’t realise what they have wrote until they re-read their post.
The following are three tips which together shaped my approach to the paragraph and that will take you to no make mistake before launch your next post:
1. A good rule is to read every sentence in your paragraph and ask yourself: “have a connection with the latest paragraph I wrote?” If you found a good answer, if possible correct every sentence in your paragraph, or if completely mistake, delete your paragraph and start over.
2. Also, every time you write an paragraph ask yourself if you could remove any of the phrases and keep the same meaning. If you can, then get rid of them. It could help you tremendously in overcoming bad habits you have.
3. Don’t writing in a monotone. Good writers vary the length of their paragraphs(some points will be 3-5 sentences) to differentiate the reader what’s important. However, sometimes you throw in a single sentence of the paragraph to emphasize a particular point. It emerge, and tells the reader to pay attention.
Remember that poor structure is really a reflection of poor quality of thought. When you’re not thinking enough about what you are creating, it comes out a messy article.
