When I started my blogging journey, the main goal for me was “make money online”.
However, despite I knew my direction, the problem was that my goal aren’t followed up with a strategy. It’s a common mistake many people do when starting with an idea, but they fail because do not consider the strategy part.
When I launched The3dtechnologies.com, my goal was to create a website that make money from Google Adsense. Usually, when people think people about making money with a blog, they tend to think about Adsense or Infolink. So, I did.

As every newbie in internet, initially I never thought to developing a plan on how do to increase my income. All that I done was to place a piece of code within all my pages and wait to become rich. Nothing is more wrong.
First and foremost you need to develop a strategy that makes your site increase your site traffic, then start thinking about customize your banner ad. Also, I discover a lot of different ways people are making money off, that initially even scratched the surface.
Below, will show you an example of a goal, then a potential strategy you could use to reach the goal.
Goal: I want to create a niche store.
My Strategy: Once created my site niche, then I will develop duplicate blogs related the topic of my store. I will use SEO(search engine optimization) to rank my site on major search engines and join to major social networks such as Facebok and Twitter to grow my readership.
Creating multiple websites, is one of better way many people choose to drive traffic into their site. For instance, you could build one blog called: tipsmoney.com and the other howtomakemoney.com, and also makemoneyfree.com, and so on.
I tell you this, because I learned (the hard way) that promoting a site with no existing traffic base often yields poor results.
In my view, this is one of the best ways to promote a new business if you are a newbie and have no traffic or built brand, yet.
No matter if you have goals to create a forum, social networking site, e-commerce store, membership site or whatever your choice. Creating a plan to help you reach your goals. I reccomend to to learn how and why certain sites become popular.
Don’t become so blinded by differentiate between “goals” and “strategies”. Each month, I revise your goals for the site, then start your strategy.
