A Powerful Trick To Convert Readers Into Buyers: Make Money With Your Email List

In blogging the game is changing all the time. I always have the need to evolve and improve on every element of my business.

When it comes to improving my blog, I always attested that increasing exposure to your blog is the best way to increase walk-in sales to your business. However, once you have visitors to your site, the next and important step is to convert them into customers.

Today, I’m going to show you exactly four handy ideas that can help you to encourage readers to sell a product or services, download your FREE book, course online, tutorials and so on, and how you can implement them on your site.

The Money Is In The List

Once you visitors come to your site, how do you get them coming back again and again and make them purchase something.

The answer is simple, but frequently overlooked…

The money is in the list. Remember: More Opt-ins = More Subscribers (Leads) = More Sales = More Income

The list will give you the opportunity to share valuable products and services with your subscribers. The quality of the relationship with your readers is an important factor that will determine the success of your business in the long run.

There are different strategies that will help you create your email list. I applied those strategies on both my sites, the3dtechnologies.com and nickdeiana.com, that I want to share in this post

1. Drive People Into Your Squeeze Page

One of my favorite strategy is to attract people to my “Nicola Deiana Squeeze page“. Of course, I do include a link to this page in different places. For instance on my email signature or when I do article marketing on Go Article or Hube Pages.

2. Opt-In Form No1

Another strategy I use is to place an opt-in form in the sidebar of the blog.

Note: I reccomend to add your privacy policy. You can put a thing like this: “Our privacy policy keeps your email safe and secure. We will never sell, rent, give, or divulge your email information to ANYONE.”

2. The Important To Confirm

When I created my FREE ebook “Make Money Online” which I higly reccomend to download, I found very important that who subscribe to my newslatter must confirm their email address in order to receive my book.

I also give them my weekly blogging updates which is always useful to my readers.

Getting people to only opt-in is one of the biggest mistake they could make. To complete the entire process you need to encourage them to confirm email address.

Of course, you might wish to use a single opt-in, however I reccomend it only for say a tele-seminar(a one time event). If you want to increase your subscriber number is crucial to conferm the opt-in.

One of the important thing to make sure readers confirm opt-in is to create a strong “thank you page”.

Before to write this article I made little upgrade to my “thank you page” Usually, my daily subscriptions is about 7-10 person per day. Ok it may not seem a lot but it is 300 montly subscribers.  So, through this change I hope to encourage more people to complete the email confirmation.

As you may have noticed, I’ve highlighted my ‘thank you page’ in four different colours, because I think these are the main parts that you need to include on your message.

1. Start with a brief welcome message or thank you message

2. Add your ${confirmlink}

3.Main content

3. Finish with “to your success” than your name and your site.

3. Opt-In Form No2

Another point where to add an opt-in form is below your post. In this way become more visible to your readers.

4. A/B testing

Most of us are familiar with the concept of using A/B split testing to determine which elements on a page are helping the performance of a web page, and which are not.

For instance, one might typically test two different ‘thank you page’. One would then use the other, once you know which is the top-performing page.

Conclusion

I like build my email list. Sure you can do it through feedburner, but I reccomend to use AWeber which offer an great service with alot of option.

Usually, open rates that is considerd good is 20%, but while there are a lot of people who never see your  email  message, what if you could email those who had already receive and non-opened your email and offended them?

Well. there’s a new feature that is available through AWeber that is very powerful that let you send email ONLY to people that had not OPENED a previous email you sent. Only thing you need to do is to change a few words in the subject line but resend the same email.
