- Check that your Website is making money – This is crucial for your having success on selling websites. If you want that people buy your website, you do need to have a site that make money. Don’t matter if you have thousand of visitors, listing it before monetizing isn’t the right choice if you not monetize. So, first make moeny with your website or blog, then selling it.
- Improve your Trust Rating - There are some site like Flippa where buyers will check the trust rating. The higher your trust rating, the higher the chances of selling your website. Your trust rating depends by several factors such as, connect your Flippa account with Facebook and LinkedIn, verify your phone number and so on.
- Choose the right Price – In general, Buyers want to pay what they think it is worth. Ask some webmaster or Facebook friend or tweeter what they think your website is worth, and then choose a reasonable price for it.

Very useful and informative post as ever. I have read about the same earlier also. I think it was something related to blogflipping. Anyways, I haven’t yet given any thought on selling my blog but yes, I would certainly look to sell it after sometime. Not in a mood now as blogging is a passion for me.
