There comes a time in every blogger’s when they click the “publish” button to launch their blog post. However, before they put their article online they often forgot something. They often forgot to use the right keyword or post title or don’t check if the links works fine, and so on.
So, here I’ve put some of question you need to ask yourself before launch your article. I’m sure that I’m just scratching the surface and I’ve forgot someone, so if you have any suggestion feel free to leave a comment below.
Questions To Ask Yourself Before Launching Your Blog Post

1. Are you sure your post is complete or not? – Once you’ve wrote a blog post, are you often wondering if is complete or not? If you’ve done a good job with your blog post by giving complete and useful information you will be sure to get much traffic and back links. Think what people want to know about your object, or what they usually type on google search box when they need of something, then give an simple and clear answer that resolve their problems.
2. Have you added things to attract readers? – Content is ideal to engage new readers and trying to build a community. One of the better strategy to attract reader attention is to start questions, make a call to action, include a poll, use their feedback directly in your post and so on.
3. Do you remind to read the post after writing it? – This is a common mistake many blogger do or however one thing I’ve noticed bloggers forget before publishing their article. Every day I read at least 5-8 blog post from Google readers, and often I found many of them with a lot of grammatical errors. That especially happens in early days when someone start a blog they do not remember to check the post after writing it. You’ll need to read it once more, to proofread it.
4. Have You Choose The Right keywords? – Keywords will help with the search engine optimization. One of the most important rule of find the right keywords to put on your content is to think what people type on search engine to search their stuff. Put the same keyword with search volume between 10.000 – 20.000 visitors within your content and into your title. If you reaches the first google position for certain keywords the more chance you have to maximize your traffic.

5. Have you choosed the title carefully? – Post title of your blog is crucial for your results, more then the content of the post itself, because readers don’t read the post if you don’t have a post that grabs the attention of visitors.
Write a title that get reader excited. For instance, you could provide readers a title with emotional hook by offering something of great value(e.g. “50 cool tutorial to become a blogger expert”) or you could get the reader curious by making an usual statement(e.g “10 thing you can learn from Yaro Starak”)
Also, add the main keywords in the post title because this will give you a great hand with the search engine optimization.
6. Are you launching your post in a good day for traffic? – If you’ve wrote your best blog post, there are good days for get traffic. They are usually Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Of course, take a look to your stat to be sure of the best day for your blog.
7. Have you linked to your older posts? – Add a link that connect both your new post with your old, helps your visitors to explore your site better and better. Usually this methods is quite used to increase page view or improve page impression as well.
On the other hand it help readers expanding on the information they have just read and helps search bots because it lets them crawl your site more efficiently.

These are a must-do points that every blogger should follow.. I generally save a post as draft and publish it after 2-3 hours (if it is not a news) after reading it again. This gap of couple of hours between writing and publishing helps in looking the content with a fresh mind.
