Currently I’m using Filezilla as FREE stand alone FTP client, however for Firefox lovers now there are another ways that allows anyone to upload and download files from their servers directly from Firefox. This add-on is called FireFTP.
The best thing in my view is that this add-on give you the ability to use an FTP client on your when you have not permission(e.g., in your work, school and so on) to install a new software on desktop.
As you can see on the image above the interface is similar to Filezilla FTP client or however other FTP clients out there.
It includes a lot of advanced feature such as: Syncing directories while navigating, SFTP, search/filtering, remote editing, SSL encryption, file hashing, drag & drop, directory comparison, and integrity checks.
It’s free, so give a try doesn’t cost anything!
