If you’ve done a good job of pulling your readers in with a magnetic headline, then you’ve won half the battle. You also have to track how really your reader will interact with your site as well.
How many times have you read about the importance to track your webpage? If you knows about where your visitor are moving, or better yet, where they clicking on your webpage you can better customize in order to make them convert better.
I’ve been pretty impressed recently by a new feature that Google released with its free service Google analytics. It caught my attention for one reason in particular, I think is something that any affiliate marketer should use to promote their affiliate offers within any webpages.
It is called In-Page Analytics and is a new tool within Google analytics which was launched just last month.
For those are always obsessed with number and track everything from their website like me, this tool is a blessing for people want life so much easier. Now, I have not more need to do extra work to see exactly what people are clicking on.
It is very simple to start with In-Page Analytics. Just go on your Google Analytic dashboard, then click on content and you should see an icons called “In-Page Analytic”. Ok, click on it. If an images worth than 1000 words, the screenshot below will show in detail this simple step.

How These Info Are Useful To Your Site?
If you have an ecommerce site or a nice site that sell something, this number are like gold. The following image will show you the detail. You’re able to investigate where exactly people are navigating and see when they click on the “buy now” button and check if your page convert well. We can use these kind of information to see how customize our site template to do it better.
For instance, in this image I can see cool data like this about what people are clicking on: 34% on the header banner “Newsletter Plugin”. Also, you’ll see a good 5.2% on the “About Nicola Deiana” link.

Also, the tool show me that only about 23% of the clicks are below the fold. This tell me that I have to put all of my top action items near the top of my page.
To see how In-Page Analytic help you better understand the correlations between site elements and traffic metrics, for a full walkthrough, see the video below.
Although Google In-Page Analytics is still very much in beta, it seem be very strong. If you don’t have an Google Analytics account yet, just go to the Google Analytics homepage and follow the instructions there to sign up and get started. Once done, you have to wait a day to see your data or see some of these metrics.
To Our Success,

Great post bro. But sorry to say I cannot use this feature as I don’t have google analytics installed on my blog. I was having it but I removed it for reasons which I myself don’t know :O But anyways, I am using similar type of service from statcounter.com and it too has been just great till date. Though not as detailed as google analytics but still it is not less in terms of useful data which it provides. The best thing I like about statcounter is highly user friendly interface. Plus the keyword analysis feature it provides is just awesome. I am finding it very useful and informative. No sure, but maybe again I will install google analytics in near future and will surely make use of this great feature which you have mentioned
