We all can live at home and save the environment and money at the same time. There are simple ways to go green and give a help to ours planet and become a little more eco conscious. In order to accomplish this task we have to learn a few steps that bring us in the right direction to trying save energy, then money.

1. Adjust your thermostat – When the winter come up, if you want to use less energy and reduce heating costs all you have to do is simply by turn your thermostat down and set it so that the temperature decreases slightly at night.

Energy Saving – These type of light bulbs can take a while to fully illuminate a room which can irritate someone but the reason is simple….compact fluorescent light bulbs use less energy, last longer and cost less to use than standard incandescent bulbs. 3. Unplug electrical equipment – Never throught to unplugging your Tvs or pc notebook when you no need to use them or before to go to sleep? No? I often do this mistake. If we just unplug ours appliances, then this can contribute help us save energy and lower ours electricity costs.

4. Use Drying Racks – It’s become normal for many of us having a tumble dryer along side ours washing machine, but believe me, I have one and can increase energy cost quickly.

5. Buy Local - Go to your local market to stock up on vegetables, bread, fresh fruits, and meat. This is a great way to support your local economy, and get much fresher and healthier food at the same time.

6. Invest in drought plants – Drought plants can be sustained without watering them all the time and allows you to save energy and money. There are many ebook on Amazon that explain how to create a drought garder in your home.

7. Looking on multipacks bulk for food – It may seen silly why you have bought enough to feed you, but it could help you use less bags as save the environment and money as well. I know bags are usually not seen as an expense to worry about, but why not save money wherever you can?

8. Recycle tech – That approach has two positive aspect, on one hand you recycling your devices like mobile phone or notebook and  do not pollute the environment, on the other hand you can also generate some cash.

9. Borrow instead of buying – Borrow instead of buying – Personally I go on my library to borrow books and movies all for free. This help me save money and I no need to print ebook which help the environment.
