Referrals 2.0 - Love or Hate?
Adsense are cost-per-click( when user clicks and doesn’t buy, you get paid), while referral are cost-per-action( when user clicks and doesn’t buy, you don’t get paid).
You’re not been happy with Google’s referral? If there is one thing that lets things down with Google’s referral are her commission very low. The benefit of this program are for some website that have particular contents, made to others publishers. Personally I were disappointed by the lack of products that don’t made it a complete PPC program.
Recently, appears that Google is listening to the blogosphere’s because has released the new referrals 2.0 system and it’s available to the most of their Adsense users. We noticed a very interesting changes in referrals 2.0 system. The new Referrals 2.0 allows publishers to choose multiple categories so you can find the right ads for your sites. If you want ads for a specific category, advertiser, or product, referrals 2.0 will give you the control to decide. Also Google enables you to choose your referral products through keyword.
At this point I want to make a question: I’m not sure on related advertisers in multiple categories. I looked the travel category and found several advertisers for Adsl, while in health category I’ve found advertisers for Hotel.

However, in the end, I feel that Referal 2.0 has a lot of potential to become a prime PPC program on the net. Anyway, love or hate the new referrals 2.0, I want to raise another question though. Which is the CPC future? I think that for google there is no reason to stay out from CPC program and it will use both. To be honest, we’re not sure what to expect after this but I think that those are just both for your business.
