Many people donate money to a certain charities annually. In particular people they hold dear to.
Giving to charity is something that is seen as extremely caring, generous, responsible.
There are many opportunities to volunteer, e.g. at soup kitchens or working at a homeless shelter, or even volunteering at a local SPCA(Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

As you know, the world is currently experiencing a global economic downturn, and less people have the extra funds available to donate money.

3. Custodial Abuse – Their main purpose is to define and promote respect for children’s rights.

5. Worldconcern.org - Is a non-profit humanitarian organization.
6. Free Rice – Is a charity website that provides different types of games for users to play.
While you’re playing, for each answer you get correct, you’re also donating grains of rice to poor countries. In May 2009 alone, Free Rice was able to donate 1,403,545,670 grains of rice.
7. Race to Stop Violence Against Women - Violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread violations of human rights. This website help woman explaining their situation or abuse.
They provides a button that you click that donates money so that women are able to write and send letters.
8. Michael J. Fox Foundation – The Michael J. Fox Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping find a cure for Parkinson’s to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today.

10. CUPS Health and Education Centers - This site focus on health care and education and helping individuals and families overcome poverty.
11. Gates Foundation – Created in January 2000 by Bill Gates and his wife Melinda, Gates Foundation has the purpose to reduce poverty and enhance healthcare, and expand access to information technology.
12. Notforsalecampaign - Not for sale creates tools that engage government, grassroots, and business, in order to incubate and grow social enterprises to benefit enslaved and vulnerable communities.

13. Plantwithpurpose – Is an environmental non-profit organization that have the purpose to help those rural areas worldwide where poverty is caused by deforestation.
14. WISER’s – Their goal is to improve economic, health outcomes for girls, and educational.
15. Common Good Radio – Advertising on internet influence children because must make a profit by selling to them. The mission of this site is to operate on the donations of parents and grandparents who want quality programming on the Internet for their children.
16. Take the Walk – This site let you take action by walking a barefoot mile or joining other Take The Walk partner events.
17. Here’s Life Mission Africa – Their goal is to give to anyone(man, woman, and child In Central and East Africa) the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Their mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through the provision of lifesaving services, entrepreneurial businesses that sustain their efforts, and relentless advocacy.
19. Global Oneness Project – Launched in 2006, Global Oneness Project offer ways for people to stimulate dialogue and take action in today’s complex world. All through films, media and educational materials.
20. Practical Family Living – Is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing substance and hope and provide information to strengthen families.
They expanded their material, and now provide a full featured newsletter, seminars, tapes and videos and pastoral support.
21. Oceans.care2.com – Oceans.care2 is the first charity website that I came across today.
It is an online community empowering people to take action on important causes such as human rights, animal welfare and global warming.
The website donates money towards to saving marine life and help prevent damage to our oceans.
