Is The New Google Panda 3.2 Happening Now?

It has been quite some time since (9 weeks) since the latest Google Panda Algorithm was updated.

Now the rumor is starting up again. I was reading a WebmasterWorld thread about a possible update of the algorithm that Google is pushing out.

This would be version 3.2 or higher.

In particular, the thread discuss about the increasing of traffic, indexing changes and so on – specifically on Panda suffering web sites.

onebuyone says:

40% traffic increase for me today, not sure if it is thanks to hundreds of small changes made on my website or some one big lucky change in algo.

Another interesting answer was:

Yeah, some movement on one of my pandalized subdomains. Not for sure until the stats settle, but it looks like on the 19th of January Google “accidentally” gave back the traffic they took on February 24th, 2011. An increase in traffic of about 80%!

While it seems like there was some movement, but this doesn’t mean it could be a Panda update. Also, Matt Cutts has not confirmed anything yet. He is in India right now, so I am not sure if we will have an update these days.

Past Panda Updates:

Forum discussion at WebmasterWorld.

Update: Google sent to seroundtable.com team a statement confirming there was a minor update, just a data refresh of the Panda update. Google added:

We’re continuing to iterate on our Panda algorithm as part of our commitment to returning high-quality sites to Google users. This most recent update is one of the over 500 changes we make to our ranking algorithms each year.

How To Create A Page On Google Plus?

Of course, the first thing I did it was to create one page for my main site the3dtechnologies.com. I’m planning anyway to create one for all my other sites as well.

The first thing you need to do is to log in into your Google Account and go to the resources of Google Brand + Page. You can create your page directly from here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/pages/create

You can pick between four category: Local Business or Place, Product or Brand, Company, institution or Organization, Arts, entertainment or sports.

Once you have choosen the category, you have to fill this form with data of your page. Just because I already have a website I decided to call the page with the same domain name, in this case ‘the3dtechnologies’.

Now all you have to do is add some key words that define your page. I choosen for my site: ‘Blogs, bsiness, money, save money, affiliate program’, then upload a photo of your profile.

Congratulation. Simple isn’t it? As you can see from this image below, you can switch to that of your profile and viceversa.

How To Don’t Get Banned By Google

It’s not the first time I hear about people that was been an AdSense publisher for a while, and who complain about being banned out of the AdSense program because have violated their policies.

While I think that there are situations where the publisher was terminated for no good reason, I think most account was suspended because violated the Google Adsense TOS Rules.

Thus, the following 6 points are the main rules you need know to do not get banned from AdSense:

1. Don’t suggest others to click on the ads – This method is largely used especially by who start using Adsense or not getting enough traffic on their blog. Usually, people encouraging other to clicks ads by writing things like “please visit our sponsor” or “support out site by visiting our sponsors”. These methods are not approved by the Adsense TOS, then be careful when you choose a title for your ads.

2. Invalid click activity – Making click on your own Google ads is the common reason people are banned. DO NOT click on your own ads, or however, don’t tell your friends and family to click your own ads, unless then intended to actually buy something from the advertiser. They will check out the corresponding IP and match it with your IP from the time you’ve signed up with adsense.

Note: If accidentally happens you click on your ads(as happens to me two years ago), send an email explaining the issue to Adsense Team. Usually, Google team respond within a day or two.

3. Don’t using pop-up or automatic software installation - Recently, I noticed several publishers putting pop-ups near the ads in order to attract people to their ads.

4. Don’t sending traffic to your site - Whether you send traffic to your site that is not “good” traffic, for example by using paid to surf programs. Now, Google can check through the impression or the CPC, whether you are using other system to generate traffic outside search engines. Google love those sites that are  optimized well and getting quality contents. They need quality information for the searchers.

5. Be careful with your site topic – According to Google’s AdSense policy, certain content is prohibited, for instance, you can’t start sites with adult content or gambling site.

6. Don’t change the Adsense code – You are not allowed to make things like this, unless you have permission by Google. Some publisher have agreements with Google to do this.

In any case, when in doubt worth ask. In my experience with AdSense, I find that when you ask you’ve a chance to fix things before banning you. Usually, Google team respond within a day or two. If you take the initiative without asking them first, you increase the chance to be kicked out by their program.

Why Google Like Spam? Some Brief Considerations

Do you know that Google likes spam? It’s really so. It’s a well-known fact that Google does not index the entire Web, but is less known that Google get along with at leat 5% of the the spam that is generated. Of course, the key question is why Google like the remaining 5%.

One thing we all know is that Google is unable to stop all types of spam, while a few kind of spam that Google is able to stopping is does not completely banned from them.

 google spam

Google contains more than 100 algorithms that make it the world’s most popular search engine and would like to maintain its No. 1 position in the industry. Despite this, we can not be one hundred percent certain that the Google results no includes spam sites.

Get attention at this image! What do we see here? Has Google forgotten to ban the spam? The answer is no. These sites are all obviously scraper sites, that Google has decided to let them be in its search results.

Usually, Google doesn’t bans the entire scraper sites. Google just penalize them when they have limited amounts of content on limited pages and get traffic,
in order to allow them to exist in its search results.

The common features of these scraper sites is that the words are all jumbled up-written one after the other in a casual way.

The Question are: Why?

My argument is that, Google would like to maintain its position the No.1 as search engine in the world and instead to show white pages for a few particular search term, Google opt to index website scrape.

We’ve seen that Google allows this scraper site to exit in their index, I’d imagine how many webmasters are thinking to use this method to look for some term that Google doesn’t have indexed, yet.

Is my argument is true, I think scraper site will never go away. What do you think?
