What I particularly like about Rob’s is that he’s made over a million dollars from his blogs, and believe me, not many people with their blog(including mine) are making what Rob’s do.

I know the title “the blueprint of a blogging millionaire” sounds like some internet marketing guru’s that promise to help you make “millions online”, but his book has made a lot of rumors around the net, so today I want say you exactly about it.

What Is The Rob Strategy?

When I bought his second version of Blogging To The Bank 3.0 the first thing I’ve understand is that Rob uses blog in a much different way to make money online.

In a nutshell, Rob’s build multiple blogs in multiple niches to make a lot of money, and not an expert in one nice as many of internet”guru” teach.

Many marketers strategies are quite different between what Rob does, but the fundamentals remain the same. In order to understand the approach by Rob’s, below I’ve put 2 point he used to build his success.

1. He build his blogs by using Wordpress.org and produce content by writing it yourself. Monetize his blogs by using Adsense, affiliate programs, and advertising. 2. Build traffic.

One thing that surprised me reading the Rob’s book is the style of writing he uses to teach. Rob’s simply tell any step-by-step process to do what he done. He not telling his story in this book, then that, then this and then repeat it again with a new blog. Do this enough and you get rich. Simple as that.

Then, if you want something that explain ONLY the actions necessary to building your own success, this is definitely the book for you. Don’t expect to become a millionaire, there’s no miracles with Internet.

Here, I’ve put some pros and cons About Blogging To The Bank 3:

Pros

• It’s good, and efficient with words.
• Rob includes different techniques.
• One of the main advices of Rob book is that to email list building from your blog. In a nutshell, if you have 10 blogs, and each blog an email list of 1000 subscribers, this is a great and realistic way to increase your income stream through different sources - this is the key.
• Rob use affiliate marketing as method to make money online. Especially, focusing only on Clickbank as affiliate networks and shows us what criteria he uses within Clickbank to decide which products to promote.
• The end of book touches the subject about selling blogs - another tactic I’m a fan of.

I like the point of book where Rob yalk about having get 20000 subscribers in different blogs. Despite this strategy, I personally prefer work on a niche first to do what I want in other niches, however I can see how incredibly profitable this strategy could be when done right.

Cons

• There are certain terms or procedures some people not understanding.
• The book is brief, only 50 pages, but as i said first it extremely efficient with words.
• He does not put case studies from his experience, add more proof on as he made so much money, would have been better.

In my view, there’s no right or wrong way to make money with blogs, however Rob seems to have a powerful strategy to pass at the next level, and make money fast.

Thousand of internet users are now profiting of adsense to make money from their blog, is a fact. Adsense is by far the most popular program on the internet to make money online.

One of the questions I often read when I look at websites such as Digitalpoint is: “How I Can Double My Adsense Revenue?”

Many bloggers that start using Adsense get stuck once they put their piece of code within their webpage. The main reason is because they think that they will earn on auto-pilot without any effort and without need to make other change. Well, It’s not so. Just as you need to make more attractive your web page, it is also important to make your banner interesting to your customers.

If we look at the most successful bloggers that using Adsense like Joel Comm(this is why I always keep his book within reach), you’ll find a common trait: They change their ad color and format, often.

There are some format that perform more then others. In these years I tried a couple of different formats, and I came to the conclusion that an adsense banner(300×250) inside the content performs better.

When I’ve started with The3dtechnologies I had not totally understood how to add my banner Adsense within my site, and which Adsense format and color will convert best for me.

Adsense Theory

Before to setting you banner Adsense you need to know two simple things that can be easily implemented into any Adsense monetized website or blog.

The two theories are the follows: First, we all know that the ad with the highest paying is positioned at the top of your banner and your purpose is that to putting it in the best possible position. Secondary, more Adsense units you use more competing you have for a click through.

So, if you limit the number of Adsense unit then you’ve low number of ads served and increase the chance that one of those ads will get clicked. Therefore, the theory is that an advertiser will be willing to pay a higher rate for less competition. Using this two simple ideas, recently I’ve made some little change on my site.

Put 360 x 280 Large Rectangle Below The Headline

The first time I read the Adsense guidelines I’ve found that the 336 x 280 Large Rectangle or 300 x 180 Medium Rectangle is the most effective Adsense unit. These banner are the most visibles and offers four ads related to the topic based. As you can see on my site I’ve positioned a 300 x 180 Medium Rectangle within the post content.

I’ve placed my Adsense unit inside the content. The reason why I think that is the most effective strategy is because the majority of my site traffic come from search engines. Every day people come to my site from search engines to looking for something. So when they land on my page and see that it’s not the content they were looking for, so I want that Adsense becomes an alternative where they land.

Recently I’ve made another little change on my banner Adsense, here what I made:

My old banner Adsense:

1. 336 x 280 Large Rectangle between the headline and content on the single page.

My new banner Adsense after the change:

1. I left the 300 x 180 Medium Rectangle on the home page.

2. I removed the 336 x 280 Large Rectangle from any single pages within the content and positioned it between the title and the body content. (See, images below)

Today, I checked my Adsense stats, but I have not noticed any improvement, yet. There’s need several days before see if my income grow, it’s likely that Adsense take some time before to updated the new ad format in order to be served on my site.

I reccomend you to experiment and find out what works for you. In general keep your page look cleaner and it’s likely to improve your revenue immediately. Another suggestions is that to make your banner adsense blended with the site by using the color and fonts of your site.

Can Adsense actually help my money grow, or is it a complete waste of my valuable time? Well, after my two year Adsense experiment, I can say that, Google Adsense is one of the better, if not the better programs to making money online.

Of course, there are many niches that always pull in the mega bucks than others, but in general no matter if you have a website about marketing, technology, busines, if you write every day you’ll be sure to get successful with this program.

In a nutshell, Adsense works like this: An advertiser signs up for Google AdWords system, and creates one or more advertisements that they want to display on Google’s search result pages or on “content pages”. Each website or blog created by individuals or company, are able to display banner ads on their content pages. This system is also known as “pay per click” or PPC because advertisers pay when the ads are clicked by readers.

Websites get a percentage of the amount that the company pays Google for displaying the ad. For instance, if advertisers through Adwords pays $1.00 for each click visitors do, Google will pay a percentage of that amount to you, in this case, about $0.20.

With Adsense you’ll be sure to get a nice little check every month. Of course, you need to have hundred visitors a week, if you want make $30-$50 each week. Remember, increasing exposure to your website is the best way to increase click-though-rate, and your incomes, as well.

How Does To Start With Adsense

Simple as pie. All you have to do is to sign up for a free account on google adsense home page. Once done, you’ll need to wait a few days before your site is approved. (note: To start with Adsense you need to create a website or blog, but not every site is approved).

Once approved, log into your Adsense account, click on “Adsense Setup”, then “Adsense for content”(see image below) and you can start create your ad.

Once go on the “Adsense for content” tab, you can choose between different size and format options. With Adsense you have more control allowing you to choose which color, size, fold you want to appear on your site or blog.

As you can see on my blog, usually I use a med rectangle (300×250) on the top and sidebar of my home page and single pages. (Note: You are allowed to put up to three different ad unit within every pages).

Other Features

Alternate ads: The great thing about alternate ads is that when Adsense no display ads for certain keywords,  instead to displays public service ads,  you can set to display advertising of another site or blog you want.

Channels - If you want organize your AdSense results by Web site or by areas of your site, channels allows you to compare each format you are using, and see which work better.

Ok, now you’ve done all the necessary to setting your ads, you can generate the HTML code and copy it on your own site!

After Adsense, Chitika is maybe the better way to make money blogging. Recently, they have released new ad unit option for publishers wanting to monetize their blog traffic of people arriving from search engines - called “mega unit” premium ad unit.

How Does It Works

6. Far and away the best thing the premium ad units offers is that while their previous ad units could be  used to gadget related sites - these ad units are converting for all kinds of sites and topics. Obviously, some sites convert better than others.
