Unless you’ve living under a rock, you’ve no doubt heard about Adsense and affiliate marketing. Currently, they are two of my favorite ways to make money online and there are many people making thousand of dollars(and even millions) through these two methods.

Personally I find that both methods work well in long-term, but It takes hard work and a lot of effort… something you hear very often when it comes to make money blogging, and often people are too lazy to do it.

Other people for one reason or another prefer to make money in auto-pilot. So, this post is for those people, it shows there’s in fact a different way and how to achieve it.

Are You Looking For A New Monetize Strategy?

People were not satisfied with the two traditional methods mentioned above, they prefer looking to another ways allowing them to be open about making money but at the same time creating something that is truly profitable. What I want to share today is a methods and possible alternative that worked for many top bloggers out there.

Start A Membership Websites

What Copyblogger, Frank Kern and other successful internet entrepreneur have in common is that they all have a membership website. Basically, It help anyone to sell a product(software, course, and so on) and a service(E.g. Teach to run a website, and so on) at the same time and use the blog and other marketing techniques to attract people.

Now, how do you start your own M. site?

First at all you have to find a profitable topic – Let’s say the topic is for example help making money online. This is a good topic because members have to practice and get directions regularly.
Some membership websites about how to make money online, can be setup with a time-limited, so has not need more work to be sustained than others.

Build An Email List – E-mail list is a way to communicate with your subscribers. E.g. if your topic is teach how to make money online, you can write free content about your niche as using a combination of marketing tactics as well.  For example you can do guest posting, blog commenting, forum posting and social media.

Create The Paid Membership Of The Website – The premium section is a place on your blog where you would put all your paid content and other goodies. This can be anything, from step-by-step courses, forums, databases of files or any combination of them. A good strategy to start is to create the first part your members will see and then build the rest from there.

For example, if your Premium section is a course, a good strategy is to create one month or so in advance using their feedback and then build the rest while your members consume what you’ve already created.

Launch The Website – Once built a strong e-mail list with hundred if not thousand of subscribers, you’ll receive a lot of feedback, then the basics of the Premium section is ready, it’s time to set up a price for access to Premium section.

Once you have some members, you’ll have to find a way to automate the marketing (affiliates, for example) and content delivery (using software).

Finally, like I said above, this strategy will not work with any niche, but can be a valid alternative for some one. Let me know what do you think.

An italian guy has a little piece of land. Yes, he love a lot to cultivate rice. Unfortunatly his hobbies cost money. E.g. he have to spend hundreds of dollars for buy rice seeds, pay bills and so on. So, here where his great idea helped him turned his hobby into a money-making machine.

He running a site where everybody can rent a piece of terrain and pay for getting a rice field to be managed without any effort. Anyway, you can create your garden and choose the vegetables you like to be coltivated. You can choose between 25, 50, 100 and more MQ. Well, after he open the site he got a lot of response.

Make money online

Never said that blogging is the faster way to become milionaire, but surely can be a way to supplement your income. E.g. you can start making money with program like Adsense, or using affiliate marketing to sell stuff online. Anyway, blogs aren’t the only way to make money online. You could open an online store and sell eBay products through tis affiliate program.

Another way is do how Robb does. For those who unfamiliar, Robb is the blogger at “Mountain Biking by 198“, a blog that reviews biking products. One thing that differentiates Mountain Biking by 198 from others blog that make money using adsense or online advertising, is that Robb also receive free products for a value of tens of thousands of dollars and re-sell it. “Consulting” may sound intimidating. It’s really just a fancy word for someone who trades their knowledge and expertise for pay. Every time you make a suggestion, recommend a process, draw up a plan or manage a process, you’re using consulting skills. How To Make Your First Dollar Blogging

I often hear people saying: “I want to be rich! mega rich! with millions!” or asking things like that: “How make a 6 figure income doing what you love?” Well, the truth is, no matter how much money you hope to make blogging, the journey starts with one. The single, solitary dollar.

Once you earned the first dollar of profit, then you realize it doesn’t not so hard to “make money blogging”.

Of course, it take some days first to set up your business, and realize this necessary first step. However, that small income might sound ridiculous to your friends, family, and even yourself, but remember that is only the first step toward your own independence and freedom.

When I first created my blog the first question that popped in my mind was: How do I make my first dollar with my blog. The answer was Adsense. Initially my blog the3dtechnologies.com made about $2 and created a monthly income stream of about $60. If you want a nearly surefire way to get past the $1 mark this is a great way to do it.

I have A Better Way

Peraphs this method is very slow because it would take anybody about 3 months to reach the $100 threshold. So if you’ve urgent to cash out your Adsense account, you can not do that.

Although Adsense is one of the most popular ways to monetize your blog, if you want to make more than one dollar it is worth considering the alternatives.

When I’m on the lookout for an affiliate program the first thing I look for is the payout. E.g. if your commission is four percent of sale and $100 minimum to receive a check would mean I need to sell 167 book at $15.00 before I can get a check.

The programs I recommend to make your first dollar blogging online are Clickbank, Shareasale, Commission Junction, Pepperjam, and Amazon Associates

Here’s why I’m so bullish on the Affiliate program versus Adsense:

1. I’d be reluctant to start a blog around a niche which isn’t profitable. You need to figure out where your audience is willing to spend money and identifying products that your audience is willing to pay money for, and fortunately for you, these affiliate programs mentioned above has stuff to sell to almost any market imaginable. Fitness? Check. Dog training? Lots of options there. Relationship help? I think you get the point.

2. The most important bloggers out there is making a six-to-seven figure income even from affiliate programs and not only from Adsense.

The important concept behind Affiliate programs is that you’re making sales, not just clicks. If you’re serious on make money online you have to think how sell your stuff. E.g. you can selling your own ebook, software, or service. He’s recommending selling his own products and affiliate products.

3. Program like Amazon have a better level of trust for the online retailer because audience probably has an account with Amazon already. Give the Amazon Associates program a test drive on your own blog–even if you’ve already made your first dollar blogging.

When I was newbie I used to think that blogging was the most important thing to help me make money online; Now that I am old, I know it is. However, if done well, there are other profitable ways to do things without spend for both a domain and hosting service.

With my blog I covered a lot of different ways people are making money online, but I haven’t even scratched the surface.

I hate using the term “easy money” but if you have enough followers, Twitter has got to be one of the easiest ways to generate passive income too. Through Twitter you can make a reasonable amount of money by using your Twitter account. Below I listed some services to add to your Twitter experience.

1. Direct Advertising

This is great way of making some quick cash. Maybe you’ve already heard about service like Sponsored Tweets or Adly.com. They both works the same way. You just need to write tweet in your own words with a sponsored link. Before to join these type of services I’ll suggest you to increase the number of followers to your site due many company have certain requirements such as followers count, follower to friend ratio, and so on.

2. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to generate income through your Twitter account. Just putting some affiliate links in your tweets(my favorite affiliate networks are: Clickbank, Commission Junction, Shareasale and Pepperjam). If you’ve already experience with affiliate programs through your blog, then facebook is look like. You need to place a link or ad and you earn only if you bring people to click on the links, and then make a purchase.

When reader move the mouse over the link rather than being connected directly to the site, they will see a small ad, either popping up in another window, or running for a few seconds which the reader may choose to click on before re-directing the person to other page.

6. Get Sponsorship

As almost everyone has some kind of social networking page, it is possible to try for sponsorship from a company or business using Twitter or Facebook account. Set up your Twitter page, and then try to get a good number of followers. Once you have a satisfactory count, you can then appeal for sponsorship through a tweet or you can approach the company directly. You must be really lucky to get a sponsorship.

Another utilized way to make money through Twitter is to place an advert on the background of your Twitter Profile. It is a method much used by company that want to publicize and grow their brand. A service I use is twittad. Just set price you want to sell your space, and the tool do the rest.

In your Twitter profile, you will find bio. This is the place where you put a few personal details. It is possible to use this area of Twitter to plug different product messages. I thought I’d take a few lines today to give some of the best ways your kids can make some buck. They are all simple and fast ways to make money, but I still feel I have a lot to add in this list, so if you have some idea I do not shared here, feel free to leave a comment below :)

1. Start A Blog, free and effective - This money making method is a simple but effective solution to save dollars for the items you desire. Of course it take time do a blog from scratch for everyone to read, but if you write your post on regular basis, you can earning a few hundred dollars already by the first month since the launch.

If you have passion on a subject in particular and you would like to spread the word, then blogging is a great idea to satisfy your interests and your money box.

Often, kids may need a grown up to set a site up through the most know platform like WordPress or Blogger, but once done, you just need to add a piece of code to generate money, e.g. Adsense. If you would like start a blog but you don’t have much knowledges to do that, I’ll suggest to download my free ebook here.

2. Babysitting - This is another common way to save for the product of your desire! If your kids likes younger kids, then a baby sitter is a popular choice. However, it also comes with many responsibilities and should never be taken lightly. If you’re looking for your younger sibling or a family friends child, be aware of the legal age requirement of staying home alone in your area as this varies.

3. Household Chores - I think household chores is all good and well, although someone consider this job a child labor or slavery. The common way to do household chores is helping parents tidy the house, clean mirrors and windows, washing dishes, and so on.

4. Offer to wash local cars - Washing your parents car or even next door neighbour’s car is a good methods to turn your efforts into business. A smart approach is to promoting yourself in your local area, with a banner, bucket and sponge on the side of a road.

5. Toy Rentals - You may have games or a whole heap of toys you don’t use anymore but you are willing to share. That is a wise idea and a way for others get to play with items they don’t have. You could rent out some of your toys to other kids at an affordable price per hour or per day.

6. Making Crafts - If you are creative, and talent to produce pieces worthy of selling, then you can turn your ideas into money and make additional income. You can sell your work to friends, family and promote this through your school or your parent’s work place perhaps.

Well, these simple methods are meant to kick start your productivity process without the risk to spend too much time while you’re working online. The following advices have worked fine for me, so they should even help you to improving efficiency and productivity.

Clear Out Your Inbox

One thing you’ll notice about your Gmail inbox is that it is just about always full. Often email are the first thing we check in the morning and the last thing we check before we sign off at night, and probably one of the biggest sources of distraction out there for many of us who are working online.

Often, we are a slave to our inboxes, and spending so much time on emails and can affect ours mood quite a lot, especially when they’re too much and you can’t process them all togheter.

The following points are meant to help you truly tidy up your inbox and save you some time:

  • Take one or more minuts and unsubscribe from any emailing list that you don’t read anymore. On my Gmail account I regularly receive email notification from 20 blogs, but I had to remove from my list at least 50 email in the past.
  • Leave only the emails on your home inbox screen that are most important for you and need to be replied quickly. Once replied to it, then archive it.
  • Your time is valuable, and if you receive too many emails could be a waste of time to read all. So I’ll suggest to ignore some emails simply because, is clear that you can write a blog post which helps 2000 people, instead to reply to an email which helps one.
  • Create reply templates. Often I’ll receive a lot of emails with the same question, so I use templates in Gmail that I can insert with just two clicks.

Work Out Regularly

Workout for 1 hour can also help you to get a lot more done. I had always noticed that on days I went to running, it just seemed so much easier to concentrate on my work and especially help me find new idea and avoid blogger’s writing block. So not only will you get the benefit of feeling healthier and looking better, but also to increase your performance.

Check Up The Prioritise

If you don’t think you can use will power to stop yourself from getting things done, then there are two simple tools that may help you in this task.

Through a useful browser plugin for Firefox like Leechblock you are able to block certain websites for a set period of time. E.g. If you’re always surfer on news sites without even realising it, this plugin can help you do not get distracted.

Self control is another program for Mac which allows you to block website at certain times of day. The best part of the software is that you can’t actually turn it off. The real truth is that you can, but I’m not going to share with you.

Ok now put these steps into action, and you no longer have to spend your time uselessly each day.
