How To Create True Value

When you see tangible results of your work as blogger you know you’re creating value. Imagine I write an interesting article and I receive lots of feedback or comments, such as “Many thanks for the information! thanks Nicola! that great!” That means that you are producing value.

Well, is not quite so. Many of bloggers write articles, but a week later people already forgotten about it, and nothing in editors has changed. The only really value readers received was perhaps a moment of distraction, but not means that is a evidence of tangible positive change.

You’ve not created real value, but a value of short-lived. Sure, some people responded well to your article by making comment or leave feedback, but isn’t a tangible positive change. Not totally. I can’t say I delivered much real value.

Of course, weak value is better than no value, but if this is the only result you are able to reach, you’d probably be struggling financially. Creating strong articles is very hard, but the more harder is to know what which is the difference between strong vs. weak value.

The value received depends by the kinds of readers and the circumstances of their life too. Some people could receive weak value the first time they read your article and a good value once re-reading the article that previously didn’t mean much to them.

Now, suppose I are at a conference and someone see me, and says, “Hi Nicola, My name is Jonh, I’m your fan! I read your article “How to start a business online”. That article convinced me to leave my old job and start my own business this year. Now I make $1600 per month through affiliate programs. Yaro was great! It’s a great teacher, and thank you so much for the article you do. I’m so much happier!”

This is a classic example on how this new activity was a positive affirmation for John and was a tangible positive change for him. Is something real, that has change his life for the better. The article reached its purpose and the results was more than just momentary entertainment value. Unfortunatly these results not happen often.

The Internet is already full of content with weak value. Many bloggers have reached the point where they stagnate. They still aren’t getting the results they want because consistently deliver weak value and they wonder what’s missing since the feedback seems to suggest that they’re doing great. The problem is that these bloggers never make the transition from weak value to strong value. They don’t raise their standards to the point of creating impact instead of just entertainment.

It is very challenging to create and deliver strong value. You could lose a lot of time, month or maybe years by creating weak value. You can post each day, reading blog posts, watching videos, etc to learn, but the process is long, and only your experience can help you to differentiate yourself.

If you can figure out what could permanently change people life for the better, you are following the right way. I hope you grasp this point because it’s an important distinction to internalize. Put a lot out there, and gradually figure out what matters and what doesn’t. In this way you differentiate yourself.

Here, two examples of possible article that may get tangible positive changes:

These are all tipically examples that can bring some positive change. Someone going from no money to having $1000 per month, is a drastic change.

However, it isn’t enough to know that you’re creating tangible positive changes. You still need to real proof to know if you’re creating tangible positive changes.

Well, an evidence that your work is producing tangible positive is that people will tell you how your creative work has affected them.

How ToCreate True Value?

No matter if you start creating stuff that provides little or no value. Each time you create weak value, it serves as a learning experience. Continue to write and keep experimenting. Once you got experience you learn to provide more value.

By now I’ve post more then 1000 articles, and I’m still looking different ways to improve, so I keep writing. In these year, I trying to learning what works and what doesn’t. The more articles you create, the faster you’ll figure out waht is good and what is weak.

If you don’t know how to get started to creating some value, one thing you can do to help you to find some idea is to take a few minutes to help people in need. Have you ever tried?

Im my view it a good idea. Instead to stay sitting in front your notebook, you’ll learn quite quickly from people in need, they give you new ideas, you can re-use to provide value to people. Also, this method will help get you out of your head and get into action.

If you really don’t know what to do though, simply go outside and walk around. Don’t go home until you’ve figured out something you can do to take a stab at creating value.

If you think you can sit at home and compute the perfect value-creation formula and then begin taking action from that place of perfect insight and understanding, you’re delusional.

When I starting with The3dtechnologies, my purpose were just to create weak value. Creating strong value was quite rare and usually accidental. Over time I understand what were good value and waht not and I gradually improved. When I read my first blog post oftem I’m embarrassed by what I’ve written.

My better advices is, start writing, and experiment. Remember, the only way to fail is to sit around sulking and doing nothing. Creating something, no matter if is waik value, continue creating stuff.

How To Boost Your Productivity

Imagine your goal is to reach an island by boat, but there’s an obstacle you can’t cross. Then you follow it around to the right until you’re able to head towards the island without problems.

Heuristic is an adjective for experience-based techniques that help in problem solving, learning and discovery. Source: Wikipedia

The example above isn’t the most comprehensive, but it will work well, and you’ll eventually get your result.

Here, are a few other heuristics examples:

  • If you are having difficulty understanding a problem, try drawing a picture.
  • If you can’t find a solution, try assuming that you have a solution and seeing what you can derive from that (”working backward”).
  • If the problem is abstract, try examining a concrete example.
  • Try solving a more general problem first (the “inventor’s paradox”: the more ambitious plan may have more chances of success). Source: Wikipedia

One of applications of heuristic is certainly personal productivity. Productivity heuristics are rules used to get things done more efficiently. Here, I’ve put some of more important:

1. Set a goals - Focusing on what you’ll do to not succumb to distractions. If you have several goals, give each a priority. Every day, set one or two goals max, then do it. Without a clear focus, it easy lose your time. Note: If a goal is too large, don’t worry if it can seem that you are not making progress towards it.

2. Hit your target -  No matter what you must do, you need to  identify and reach your target. For instance, if you writing a blog post, you could decide not to get up until you’ve written at least 500 words.

3. Identify your important tasks - Choose your peak times and identify your most important tasks for those times. Choose minor tasks during your non-peak times.

4. Work early in the morning - You can often get more done before 8am than most people do in a day.

5. Punctuality - Arrive always early despite it takes many time.

6. Visualize your goal in your mind as already realized - Once put yourself in right mental state, you’ll soon see it as already accomplished.

7. Take frequent breaks - Spend your time to see a movie, read a book or at an amusement park. I use Workrave to help remind to take micro-pauses. It has multiple timers that are only active when you are mousing.

For who does a life of this work online or whether work from home is right for you, below I discussed some ways that allow to help you to organized your own work at home.

  • Make regular work hours.  Your organizzation is important. Start working always at the usual time. Make as if you were working at your office, once dressed, go at work(or better at your desk).
  • Start with your Job. Like most people, some mornings I wake up and I feel less than enthusiastic about working. A suggesting to avoid this, is to do something, fun and especially interesting. Find the way to do starting your work in a way more easy can give you momentum throughout the day.
  • Make a Schedule for the Upcoming Day. Keep a schedule with all work hours as if you were working at your office, to do know when you’ll be available.
  • No distraction. Children, friends, and neighbors could be a point of distractions for your job. Be careful not to be interrupted by them. This also includes devices as TV, phone and computer. If you’re a gamer, you should use a playstation or xbox and not your own pc machine. Ask the rest of your family to respect that you are trying to make some money while you are in the office.
  • Build your work space. Some people claim they work well in a high-stress environment. I do not think like them. I prefer find a separate area to dedicate at my work, so I can separate my “work online” from my “living” area. Regarding the organization of your space, Install a separate phone line, purchase one desk, computer, printer, etc, so you can facilitate your actions.
  • Focus on objectives. It important to define your aims. Work with your manager and colleagues to define clear goals and objectives against which your performance can be objectives measured. Make a list of everything that is important to you, from your goals in order of priority.
  • Last but not least, take breaks during your weekends. Get out to take a walk or run, as often as you can. Physical activity is essential to good health. Twenty minutes or more of Physical activity four times a week it important to strengthen your heart. During your lunch break meet people to keep your mind relaxed.

Four Key Goals To Don’t Losing Motivation At Work

The great majority of people who make this work, are quite enthusiastic when they starting with the first blog post. At this stage of their business career, about 60 percent of bloggers finds, their moral declined after the first one month-and continues to deteriorate for years afterward.

The fault doesn’t stem from low desire to work, it’s a something caused by stress and mental disorders varied, that can be an obstacle for many bloggers. This feeling was for me until I’ve improved my blog results and my income, as well.

Depression and anger may be your initial responses, when you starting with blogging. To maintain the enthusiasm and be to maximun level when you you work , you need to satisfy those goals:

  • Be A Constant Blogger. One of the things I think is at the middle of the success of many famous bloggers, is an ability to keep working constantly, day-to-day, also after made a mistake and an ability to be productive when something goes down.
  • Patience. How much patience you have for blogging? it’s necessary in this work. If you don’t have this capacity, you better avoid the entrepreneur’s journey. Reminded me of some of the tougher times in my own blogging journey when I found it difficult to keep things going. For blog owners, producing world class content often isn’t good enough. You need to convince the millions of web users out there that your blog is worthy of their valuable time. Patience, patience, patience.
  • Building Self-Confidence. Keep working in the face of failure. It very hard to be confident of success if you’ve not experience yet. Being willing to take risks and go the next stage to getting always better. Dont worry even if others people are criticizes of you. Continue what you believe to be right. Be humble and keep in mind your mistakes to learn them.
  • Focus on what you want to produce. One of the things I always made and still do whenever I feel less than enthusiastic is to focus on my content, rather on the things that bring my site down.
