A Linkbuilding Strategy That Work

I have an excellent strategy for anyone want increase the number of back-link on his site, today. To test this method I did a Google search for “no longer available” key phrase. The result was been a list of no longer web pages.

The difference between these pages to other, is that it are No LONGER OFFERS ANY ANTIQUES CONTENT. When I discovered this key phrase, I thought that these type of pages would be useful to find a lot of quality link. Well, I explain you how to do this.

For finding sites which no longer offer a service or have expired:

  • “service no longer available”
  • “service no longer available” [keyword]
  • “no longer available [keyphrase]”
  • “site no longer available”
  • “site no longer available” [keyphrase]
  • “site has been taken down”
  • “site has been taken down” [keyphrase]

For finding sites which no longer sell a specific product:

  • “no longer offer [keyword]”
  • “no longer sell [keyword]”
  • “stopped selling [keyword]”
  • “stopped offering [keyword]”

The following methods can be used to build external link to these pages if you have a site which is in the same niche:

When you want to get someone to do something, you need to arouse their interest. A good tactic is to ask site owner to add a link on their site by contacting them saying: “Hi, I saw your link to the myoc.com page, I’ve noticed that your page no longer offers any service”.

I send this mail to ask you if you’d like to add a link to my site in order you can give some useful news from my active site. I think this is a excellent strategy if the site considered has many externl links

Once, found the site in the same niche, all you need to do is to contact the owner and ask him to add a link to your active site from their, which no longer offers the service. The site owner will take advantage because provide a useful page to any of their users who find the page, while you will take advantage because you have more visibility. There are website page that have PR6.

How To Using Good Adsense Words

Your first month of Adsense income comes and you are happy with what you have made! But what happens if your income drops down. I make a decent bit with adsense, thanks my experience, so I want give you 5 steps, are primarily on how integrate word that are considered “good” into pages that you write and could increase your Ad sense revenue.

1. Choosing A Good Informative Topic

A large range of topics work well with Google but some are more likely to work than others. For this example, I’ve chosen the topic “Affiliate”. For me the topic “Affiliate” is a general one, I want to choose a narrower subtopic to discuss, something like “Affiliate Program” or “Best Affiliate Programs”. Once you have determined that your topic will be suitable, you can move at the next step. Recently I’ve wrote an interesting article that can help you to choose the right post topic for your blog.

2. Get Right High Pay Keywords: No Price Too High

I usually encourage people to find keywords that are not pay high, but ones that bring a decent number of visitors on a website. For instance I’ve never once tried to use key terms as mesothelioma, legal advice, but pick words as “Affiliate” that have an high “approximative average volume”. In regards to writing, please remember that simply changing of words within will not increase revenue.

3. Approximate Average Search Volume

Keyword Analysis is an important point in Search Engine Optimization, in order to finding the average number of users searching particular keyword, Keyword value Geographical location of those users, etc.

“Approximate Average Search Volume shows the approximate average monthly number of search queries matching your keywords that were performed on Google and the search network over a recent 12-month period”

There are TONS of high search volume keywords out there. By using Ad words Keyword Tool you can find keywords that could probably get huge impressions. I’m hoping to getting ~100K pageviews soon.

If 50% of those pageviews become adsense impressions- 50K impressions with a 1% CTR at 20 cents a click is already 100$ a day.

4. Add Keywords

Once subdivided your articles into paragraphs, go on Adwords keyword tool, then type “Affiliate program” and click on the button. Below, I’ve included a few result:

  • affiliate networks - €2,59
  • affiliate marketing - €2,94
  • affiliate - €2,21
  • affiliate websites - €2,25
  • affiliate programmes - €2,68
  • best affiliate - €2,40
  • adult affiliate - €2,26
  • affiliate sales - €2,63
  • affiliate income - €2,23
  • affiliates program - €2,19

As I said first, I’d rather to use keywords that are not pay high, but ones that bring a nice traffic on my site. In brief, you should to finding the happy medium between the pay keywords and average volume search.

In this case the term “Affiliate Programs” has an average value of 2.30$ while “Adwords Keyword Tool” provides an average search volume of 673.000. Not bad, but is preferable more high, at least 1.500.000. At this point, make sure you are incorporated each keywords that are focused on what you’re writing about into each paragraph.

5. Build Your Adsense Title

Use the step 1, to create a very focused title in which you can include the key term “Affiliate”. For instance: “How To Choose An Affiliate Program”. Reade my recent article on how use Adword tool to create a post titles.

How To Use AdWord Keyword Tool To Create Post Titles And Choose Blog Topics

If you are into internet marketing and you need to create an article from the ground up, an useful tool for bloggers that wanting to do a little research into topics is called “AdWords Keyword Tool”. This is a free Google tool that can be useful for advertisers that looking to find which keywords are target on Google but it’s also useful for bloggers wanting to research how many potential advertisers there might be on a topic.

I’ve already described this tool in detail in my recent article, so today I want to do a practice example on how I can use this strong tool in two way: 1. How To Using AdWords Keyword Tool to Chose a BLOG Topic. 2. Using AdWord Keyword Tool to Choose a POST Title.

1. Using AdWords Keyword Tool To Optimizing A BLOG Topic

I want launch a new blog and I want to research specific keywords to use in my blog’s title. I’ve choosed “domain name” as key term but I’ve narrowed down my interest to just “cheap domain name”. In the AdWord Keyword Tool I would simply enter in both terms and ask for keyword ideas. The tool will give me this:

adwords keyword tool

When finally arrive you have quite options available to you to analyzing the results: In the ‘advertiser competition’ columns we get an indication that tell us that there is a lot of advertisers competing for these keywords. This gives me an indication that if I were to use AdSense there would be a healthy amount of advertisements to serve to my blog.

In the ’search volume’ columns we get an indication approximate search numbers for the term per month in Google. In my view, is not showing exact value because the ‘domain name’ gets searched for on Google too than ‘cheap domain name’.

At this point take a look at Google Trends for the two terms:

Here we see if the topics they have seasonal spikes that’s a good thing to know when choosing a topic for a blog.

2. Using AdWord Keyword Tool To Optimizing Your POST Title

Another way you can use the AdWords Keyword Tool is to create a SEO friendly title that are able to increase your search engine ranking.

To testing this tool I decide to go to the AdWords Keyword Tool and type in ‘Affiliate Programs’ and ‘Business Affiliate Programs’.

As result I noticed that ‘Business Affiliate Programs’  get 201.000 as average search volume against 2.900 of ‘Affiliate Programs’. In this way I getting some clues as to optimizing my article for certain term and know which will be the search traffic that I can possibly get.

Website Metrics: What Does Bounce Rate Mean?

bounce rate

As I said in my recent article, before have success from affiliate programs, visitors not only should see and click on the ads, they also should complete a certain action as for instance, compile a brief contact form.

This is an action that every blogger  would like to achieve by own customers in order to be sure to result in a money. To do this, any bloggers should build a site structure with interlinks related content in order to encourage their user to click around.

Only a strong site architecture can result with a sale, subscription, bookmark and return visit. Another essential features to consider to monitor visitor engagement is the bounce rate, which is the percentage of initial visitors who leaves your site after arriving at the entry page.

Usually, when visitors arriving on your site tend to leave(bounce away) without exploring other pages. A great way to find your site’s bounce rate is by using stats tools like Google Analytics. If the bounce rate is low, means that the visitors are viewing your website are more engaged with your content.

The point to note is that bounce rates should be analyzed across different sources, a Digg reader is different from a reader that arriving from a search engine that looking for a specific topic.

How To getting more page views through Bounce Rate report

In general, the bounce rate says you how visitor read your site. One visitor are more pushed to click to other pages(call-to-actions) if find very relevant links.
Remember that the visitor who’s coming from a referral site or search engine knows nothing about your site.

Optimizes your webpage, creates links around content, connect any page in order to make navigation easy to access, so you assure your visitor who’s coming from a referral site or search engine to find that he want.

How I’ve said befor you must analyze bounce rates separately for the 4 sources of visitors:

Low-value referrers - Digg. People arriving through these sources usually tend to leave immediately a website. Don’t worry if this traffic source give high bounce rate values, you can  consider any value got from Digg or other social bookmarking as not influential for your website.

Direct links -These visitors could have some degree of interest on your website, but I think that people who come from certain links haven’t same interest as someone who actively enters from a search engine. In this case is better to check out these sites.

Search engine traffic - People arriving through these sources are really interested in the topic and they are those that should influence your Bounce rate. If they leave immediately, it’s a sign that something is seriously wrong with your landing pages.

A practice example of what I intend how website with excellent interlinking is the BBC. Take a look on how are positioned links on the sidebar. You’ll notice that site architecture is composed by the following links:

  • Links to feature articles with in-depth information.
  • Links to related content.
  • Links to a comment.
  • Link to forum to invite participation by readers.
  • Links to a Back story.

Conclusion

To best achieve this in a static site you should regularly analyze your bounce rate. Once amassing data, implement changes to your site and see if the bounce rate improves. If you’ve not paid any attention to your bounce rate before, try starting today. It might help you to dramatically improve your website.

3 Mistakes To Avoid When Choosing A Web Host

Not too many people start with blogging because there are so many uncertainties. Before you build a new site, take some time and do a self evaluation. The web isn’t going anywhere.

Creating a website can be easy, fast and economical(even cheap) if you know a few basic things about the process and understand how to evaluate service provides.

One of the main topics beaten to death by most people that want launch their own business online is how choose a web hosting service.

Here are three easy mistake to avoid when you must choose your web hosting. They come from my own experience of blogging over the last 2 years.

  1. Coosing only the cheapest price. One great mistake many aspiring work-from-home small business owners do, is to focusing only on the cheapest price. This is understandable given the desire of the business owners to save money. However, the investment on web hosting should be seen as an the money spent well in order to provide a return once the business is started.
  2. Not considering the answer of technical support. Another point to take consider is the answer of the technical support. There are a variety of ways companies using to contact their customers for give them support: email, phone, ticketing system, and even live chat. One way to check if there is personal support is during non-business hours. Imagine how much your blogging productivity could going down if you have a problem on your e-commerce site during a weekend.
  3. You should check how much storage and bandwidth you need for your site before you start shopping for a web host. Be carefully when you choosing web host that offers unlimited storage and bandwidth for some ridiculous price like $5/month.

The Reasons Why I Think This Service Are A Good Choice For Your Hosting Needs

HosDime is a cheap web hosting that provides dedicated servers options of high quality so you don’t have to worry about down time. This is generally the most economical option for hosting but are attractive options for non-business websites.

Online Seo Optimization: How To get a short URL, D95.com Is Here

If you are a Wordpress blogger and you are curious about how you can start to create a shorten long URLs, this article can help you.

Is better have a URL that includes only 5-6 characters, than 10-15 characters when you send a link, right?

There are literally dozens of free services out there that make this things, If you make use of a Twitter client like Twhirl, you’ve probably used these already.

When I saw D95.com, I’ve thought it’s another URL shortening website. Today, I want say what is that will make you choose D95.com than other service that create  long short URL out there.

How Dows It WorkThe interface is all very easy to use, just insert any URL that you’d like. Once you go on d95.com homepage you are able to choose your own shortened URL. As you can see from this accurate image below, all you need to do is to enter your long URL, enter the word you’d like your URL to be and click the botton and voilà.

short url

I’ve choose like custom url the3d, so my code becomes: http://d95.com/the3d.

Other services follow their main domain with a complicated string of letters and numbers. Unlike most of the other other URL shortening websites, d95.com allows to completely mask the URL. It’s just like the redirects that you may use for affiliate links on your website or blog.

Usually, when you using other services you are redirected to another site with the “real” URL in full display. While D95 allows to do this, but it also possible to keep the shortened URL in the address bar too.

Seem D95 monetize from a simple 468×60 Google AdSense banner on the main page and that’s about it. Personally, I think this could be a bad idea to have an ad in any  page redirected, because people would get annoyed with that pretty quickly, and choose to use a different service instead.

If you’ve written about it feel free to leave a link to your advice in comments below.
