The research on supersonic planes are started in the 1942, through a secret British project. After that the airline Concorde has flew from Paris to New York for several decades, has been retired, but the new generation of supersonic passenger jet seems that will have more performance. It will be safely, will carry more passengers (three times as many passengers as the Concorde), and they will fly faster than Mach 2, thanks a new technology that was been developed by JAXA. The experiment has been realized with the launching of a small non-powered airplanes, and the result of this will create supersonic planes which will produce 1/4 the nitrogen oxide emissions.
